Alec Torelli on 65K

Torelli from the USA has one of the biggest stacks in the room on 65,000. Torelli was keen to tell me his online name is "traheho" and we've discovered why.

In February he won $288,000 by winning the Million Dollar Tournament on Full Tilt.

Allinstevie Chip Leader

In the biggest pot of the day so far, he got it all in preflop with {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} versus {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}, for all of his 50,000 stack.

Nicky Power in the same hand lost the minimum preflop with {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

Stephen Devlin is now the clear chip leader with over 100,000.

Changing Fortunes!

In the 20 minutes since the break, there have been some ups and downs in the counts of the leaders' chips.

Dag Martin Mikkelsen has dropped to 33,000.
Bertrand Grospellier is up to 52,000.
Leo Kam has dropped to 37,000.

Juha Lauttamus Wins 40,000 Pot

The action up to the river is unclear, but on a board which read {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Ayaz Manji checked and Lauttamus bet 12,000 into a 16,000 pot.

Manji dwelled for around five minutes before calling with {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for trip aces.

Lauttamus turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a full house.

Lauttamus from Finland now has over 50,000.

Online Stars Going Well!

Stephen Devlin
Stephen Devlin
Two of the UK's brightest online talents are still in Day 1b of the Prague EPT. Stephen Devlin from Omagh, Northern Ireland is riding high on 45,000, whilst Chris Moorman from Brighton, England is on 16,000. They play as allinstevie and Moorman1 online, and are both ranked in the top 30 online players.
