Two Re-Entries More

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Maxim Panyak had busted the first bullet before the dinner break and the same also applied for Alexander Ivarsson. Both players opted to take advantage of the single re-entry and are back in the game with a fresh stack. In the meanwhile, the attendance has grown to 110 entries in total and only five more are needed to equal the result of last year. Given that the registration and re-entry period lasts until 11:45 CET tomorrow, this may very well be eclipsed.

Raising War Ends in Coinflip

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Dzmitry Urbanovich raised to 1,700 and Jonathan Little three-bet to 4,000 before the Russian, living in Poland, clicked it to 8,300. Little made a small reraise to 12,700 and called the shove of Urbanovich for 55,000 with {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}. His opponent held {A-} {K-} but couldn't get there on a board of {3-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {3-Diamonds}.

Miracle On Fifth Street For Troyanovskiy

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Vladimir Troyanovskiy opened for 1,700 and got a call from Piotr Franczak before small blind David Vamplew three-bet to 5,400. Both Troyanovskiy and Franczak put out the calling chips.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and following checks from Vamplew and Troyanovskiy a small bet of 3,000 from Franczak got called by both players.

The turn card was the {8-Diamonds} and again it was checked to Franczak who bet 7,000 this time. Vamplew folded but Troyanovskiy check-raised all in for just over 20,000.

Franczak instantly called and turned over {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} for the flopped full house. Troyanovskiy, who was on his last chance bullet, stood up to go as he showed his {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

The dealer burned a card and turned over the {8-Clubs}. Quads on board and the king kicker of Troyanovskiy played.

“I thought you were bluffing.” Troyanovskiy giggled as he collected the chips.

Playing With the Big Boys

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Carlos Lopes won his entry in the Live Satellite last night and just saw Artem Metalidi check to him on a flop of {9-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {3-Spades}. With about 8,000 in the pot, Lopes bet 5,000 and Metalidi called before checking again the {3-Diamonds} on the turn. Lopes grabbed some chips and bet 7,200, which would be enough to take down the pot without showdown.

Metaal Busts to Kamar

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

After a raise to 1,600 and the three-bet of Fady Kamar for 3,500, Govert Metaal moved all in out of the big blind for what looked like 22,000. The initial raiser folded but Kamar called with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}. Metaal only had {A-Spades} {J-Spades} and the kicker would play a crucial role on a board of {10-Spades} {6-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {6-Spades}.

Czuczor Wins the War

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Marton Czuczor on the button and small blind Dmitry Yurasov got into a pre-flop raising war.

When we arrived at the table Czuczor had a bet of 6,800 in front of him and Yurasov had made it 13,000. Czuczor responded by moving all in and Yurasov flicked his cards away without any posturing.
