Joel Nordkvist Eliminated in 14th Place (£26,300)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Joel Nordkvist - 14th Place
Joel Nordkvist - 14th Place

Niall Farrell opened and called Joel Nordkvist’s shove to put him at risk.

Nordkvist had {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} but it was Farrell’s turn to have the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}.

The cards fell {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Nordkvist was the next victim of the aces.

D'Auteuil Doubles Through Danchev

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Fresh off the back of one aces versus kings duel, there was one on the other table. Former PCA winner Dimitar Danchev was the unlucky man to be holding {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and he found himself crippled against Philippe D'Auteuil's {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} after the board came {J-Spades}{5-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{8-}{Q-}

Dion Doubles Through Kamar

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Yann Dion has doubled up, he was all in on a {K-Spades}{3-Hearts}{K-Hearts} flop against Fady Kamar's {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}. The latter was a disbeliever but Dion was the real deal, he had {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs} which held on the {5-Hearts} turn and {3-Spades} river. Kamar dropped to just 200,000 as a result.

Marvin Rettenmaier Eliminated in 15th Place (£26,300)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Marvin Rettenmaier
Marvin Rettenmaier

Poor old Marvin Rettenmaier. All those doubles couldn't save him in the end.

It started with an open from Niall Farrell before Rettenmaier made it 68,000 and Leonid Markin cold-called with Farrell folding. With the board reading {J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, the two proceeded to get all their chips in the middle, Rettenmaier showing {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} but having run slap-bang into Markin's {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and the river came the {5-Clubs}. It's the second massive pot that Markin has won with aces tonight. He's already got nearly a quarter of the chips in play - more chips than a potato-peeling factory.

Nicolas Chouity Eliminated in 16th Place (£23,750)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Nicolas Chouity - 16th Place
Nicolas Chouity - 16th Place

Most of the damage done to Nicolas Chouity was when he called a shove with from Victoria Coren Mitchell holding {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}. Coren Mitchell had {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and held on a final board of {2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

Chouity was soon all in and got a call from Martin Quack who then folded when Lodden moved all in over the top of him

Lodden had {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and Chouity was again looking to hit with his {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}. A run out of {6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} however sent him to the rail.

Frederik Jensen Eliminated in 17th Place (£23,750)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Frederik Jensen
Frederik Jensen

Just one hand after managing to chop {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs} against Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden's {A-Spades}{J-Hearts} thanks to a double-paired board, Frederik Jensen was all in again, this time he was holding the {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} but Andrew Chen had {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

The Canadian player's kicker stayed good on a blank {2-}{7-}{8-}{K-}{9-} board.

Behbehani Doubles Through Quack

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

We didn't see how the action went preflop but Salman Behbehani was all in preflop with {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} against Martin Quack's {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, managing to hold on a {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board.

Adrian Mateos Eliminated in 18th Place (£21,350)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Adrian Mateos - 18th
Adrian Mateos - 18th

Adrian Mateos moved all in from the button for 132,000 and small blind Jorryt van Hoof made the call.

Mateos tabled {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and van Hoof showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.

An initially promising but eventually cruel run out of {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{j-Spades} gave van Hoof the straight and Mateos the boot from the tournament.
