Roman Emelyanov Eliminated in 11th Place (€52,990)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Roman Emelyanov
Roman Emelyanov

Shortly after getting short, Roman Emelyanov had the rest of his chips in the middle. Francois Billard had limped in for 40,000 and from the small blind Roman Emelyanov had shipped his stack in for 198,000. Ole Schemion in the big blind made the call and Billard made the call.

Both live players checked on {Q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and they did the same on the {9-Spades} turn. The river was the {3-Clubs} and Schemion checked. Billard now bet a mere 50,000 and Schemion contemplated his move. "I should just move in now" he laughed, before eventually folding.

Billard showed his {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Emelyanov tabled {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. €52,990 for Emelyanov, the same amount awaits the next player to bust.

Oleksii Khoroshenin
Oleksii Khoroshenin

In the second hand after the break, action folded to Oleksii Khoroshenin on the button. The EPT Vienna winner shoved all in for 630,000 and Simon Deadman in the small blind seemed interested. he informed how much it was, asked how much the big blind had, and eventually shoved all in as well. Laurynas Levinskas folded his big blind rather quickly.

Simon Deadman: {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Oleksii Khoroshenin: {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The flop would give Khoroshenin a flush draw but it wouldn't become more than that: {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{A-Hearts}. Oleksii Khoroshenin eliminated in 10th place for €52,990. The remaining nine players are now seated at the same table and are guaranteed €63,290.

Clavio Anzalone

Andrey Zaichenko opened for 110,000 from the hijack and Ole Schemion in the cutoff made the call. Joao Vieira in the small blind folded but Clavio Anzalone shoved all in for 575,000 total. Zaichenko made the call and so did Schemion.

Both players with an option checked on {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The {2-Clubs} fell on the turn and Zaichenko bet 500,000. Schemion leaned back and checked his cards one more time before tossing them in the muck.

Zaichenko showed {10-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Anzalone presented {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. Anzalone needed a non-club queen or ace but wouldn't get it. The {7-Clubs} completed the board and just like that the first casualty of the official final table was there.

Clavio Anzalone takes home €76,310. The remaining 7 players are guaranteed €103,870.

Levinskas and Zaichenko Play A Big One

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Laurynas Levinskas
Laurynas Levinskas

Andrey Zaichenko opened for 175,000 and Francois Billard in the small blind made the call. Laurynas Levinskas in the big blind came along and the three of them saw a flop.

{3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Levinskas checked to initial raiser Zaichenko who continued for 225,000. Billard was quick to fold but Levinskas cut out a couple of black chips, added some 25's and slid 575,000 total forward. Zaichenko made the call.

The {7-Diamonds} hit the turn and Levinskas now bet half a million. Zaichenko grabbed a 20-stack of 25,000 chips and made the call.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board and without much hesitation Levinskas shoved all in. Zaichenko asked for a count, but folded after found out it was 1,590,000 to call.

"Nice hand" said Zaichenko. "Show!" laughed Schemion. Levinskas revealed the {5-Spades} and grabbed all the chips.

Joao Vieira Eliminated in 7th Place (€103,870)

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Joao Vieira - 7th Place
Joao Vieira - 7th Place

The action started with Francois Billard raising to 160,000 from under the gun. Andrey Zaichenko then bumped it up to 400,000 from the button. Joao Vieira was in the big blind and was all in for his remaining 60,000 in chips. Billard then made the call before the dealer spread out the {2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

The two live players then checked before doing the same after the {a-Hearts} dropped on the turn. With the {j-Hearts} completing the board, Billard bet out 300,000 and was snap called.

Zaichenko rolled over {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for a pair of aces and ended up chopping the main pot with Billard who tabled {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for the same hand.

Vieira still hadn’t looked at his hand. He squeezed the {9-Spades} first and then allowed Ole Schemion to his left to peal his other card. It was the {5-Diamonds} which was no help to Vieira who took his elimination in high spirits as he made his way to the pay out desk to collect his six figure sum.

Ole Schemion - 5th Place
Ole Schemion - 5th Place

The action folded around to Ole Schemion on the button who moved all in for 860,000 in chips. Francois Billard made the call from the small blind before the decision fell on Laurynas Levinskas. He asked Billard how much he was playing before announcing all in over the top. Billard quickly mucked his hand and we went to showdown.

Schemion: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Levinskas: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} to see Schemion flop two pair only to get counterfeited on the turn. Levinskas’ king kicker played and he won the massive pot.

Schemion walks away with €141,420 for his effort.

Viacheslav Goryachev Eliminated in 5th Place (€186,840)

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Viacheslav Goryachev
Viacheslav Goryachev

Laurynas Levinskas limped the button for 120,000 and Simon Deadman in the big blind asked if it indeed was just a call. Before Deadman needed to act though, Viacheslav Goryachev shoved all in from the small blind for 380,000 total. Deadman folded, Levinskas insta called.

Levinskas had a monster and was trapping with his {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Viacheslav Goryachev had a real hand though with {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and it was about fifty fifty for both players.

"Unbelievable" said Zaichenko wondering out loud how Goryachev had a real hand every time he really needed it. This time Goryachev wouldn't double though.

The {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Spades} flop and {10-Hearts} turn were blanks, but the {A-Hearts} on the river paired up Levinskas and Goryachev left in 5th place. The remaining four players are guaranteed €238,320 richer.

Simon Deadman Eliminated in 4th place (€238,320)

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Simon Deadman
Simon Deadman

Laurynas Levinskas opened for 320,000 under the gun and his neighbor Simon Deadman shoved from the button. There was no one asking for a count as small blind Andrey Zaichenko immediately shoved all in and both two other players folded. Levinskas told that he folded a bad ace which gave Deadman a pained face as he was already looking at a bad showdown.

Simon Deadman: {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Andrey Zaichenko: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Rail bird Jack Salter asked for a two-spade flop and got what he asked for: {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Someone else in the audience shouted for a high card and got the {9-Hearts} which gave some split pot possibilities. The {2-Spades} on the river was not one of those cards though and Deadman departed from the tournament area.

Francois Billard Eliminated in 3rd Place (€405,260)

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Francois Billard
Francois Billard

Andrey Zaichenko folded huis button and so action was on Francois Billard in the small blind. The French Canadian pushed all in for 2,265,000 and Laurynas Levinskas in the big blind snap called. "How come you always have a hand when you push from the small blind" laughed a relaxed Levinskas, "I only push value" said Billard with a smile after they both turned their hands over.

Francois Billard: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}
Laurynas Levinskas: {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop was safe for Billard with {2-Spades}{J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The {Q-Spades} on the turn however, was not. Levinskas was now ahead but Billard had plenty of outs with straight and flush draw cards to hit.

The {10-Clubs} on the river paired him up but it wasn't enough. Billard leaves for Canada with €405,260. Play is now heads up.
