Turmezey Busts

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

One player limped before Dobromir Nikov raised it up and it got to Peter Turmezey in the big blind who moved all in.

The limper folded and Nikov made the call and tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}. Turmezey was out of his chair when he saw that and put his own {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} in front of him.

The cards ran out {10-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs} and was out.

Daher runs into Lebedev's Aces

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Albert Daher
Albert Daher

Sergey Lebedev raised to 35,000 and then called the raise of Albert Daher in the cutoff for 87,000. On the {8-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {J-Spades} flop, Lebedev check-called a bet of 93,000 by Daher and both players then checked the {K-Clubs} on the turn. Lebedev pushed all in for more than 1 million in chips on the {6-Hearts} river and had Daher well covered.

Daher took some time before committing his last 310,000 into the pot and then saw the bad news as Lebedev turned over {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}. "Bad call," Daher said and revealed {K-Diamonds} {A-Spades} before heading to the rail.

Metalidi Busts Jelinek

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Petr Jelinek
Petr Jelinek

Artem Metalidi raised to 35,000 and then called the three-bet of Petr Jelinek in the big blind for 106,000. Jelinek bet 100,000 on the {7-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} flop and Metalidi moved all in with the superior stack. Jelinek called off with {J-Hearts} {J-Spades} but his hand was only second best to the {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} of Metalidi.

Both the {6-Spades} on the turn and the {9-Clubs} river changed nothing whatsoever and the local hero was sent to the rail in 30th place.

Drammis Loses Flip to Graner

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Domenico Drammis raised to 32,000 from the cutoff and Stephen Graner cut out a stack of yellow T-25,000 chips to raise it up, making it 430,000 to go. He then reminded his opponent not to table his cards yet because he was not 100% sure if that had Drammis covered.

The Italian checked his stack and then moved all in for what looked like 390,000.

Drammis: {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}
Graner: {8-Spades} {8-Hearts}

Drammis was ready to leave after the {8-Clubs} {3-Spades} {7-Hearts} flop, but Graner reminded his opponent to stay as he had picked up a flush draw with the {K-Clubs} turn. The dealer burned and turned the {5-Diamonds} and that sent Drammis to the rail.

Panagiotis Papaisidorou moved all in and got a call from his nemesis at the table Vanessa Selbst.

Papaisidorou had a pair {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Selbst showed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The pain didn’t come until the turn of a final board showing {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{a-Spades}.

"Really nice playing with you." Came the heartfelt commiserations from Selbst as Papaisidorou took his leave, saying it had been very interesting.
