Kabrhel’s Left Hand Folds

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel opened for 20,000 and faced a three-bet to 40,000 from Leonid Markin. Kabrhel wasn’t too sure but he called the min-raise and they went heads-up to the flop of {4-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Kabrhel checked and Markin continued the aggression with a bet of 55,000. Kabrhel picked up a stack of T25000 chips with his right hand, added a few T1000 chips, and then his left hand mucked his cards.

Troyanovskiy versus Chen

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 22,000 preflop and found one caller in Andrew Chen in the big blind. On the {9-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} flop, the Canadian check-called a bet of 20,000 and did so after the {K-Spades} turn as well for 55,000. Chen checked for the third time on the {3-Diamonds} river and Troyanovskiy bet 131,000.

Chen started staring at him and the Russian suddenly put the hoodie over his face, covering the left half and staring with the right eye towards the board to not give away any emotions. Chen kept looking at the board, back at Troyanovskiy and then mucked his cards.

Bryn Kenney Eliminated By Ivan Soshnikov

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

Bryn Kenney raised to 22,000 from under the gun plus one. Ivan Soshnikov was in the hijack and bumped it up to 47,000 as the decision fell back on Kenney. He opted to move all in for around 150,000 in chips and was snap called.

Kenney: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Soshnikov: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Kenney was in big trouble against the monster pair held by Soshnikov and would find no help as the board ran out {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades} to see him eliminated from the tournament.

O'Dwyer Doubles through Busquet

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 23,000 and Olivier Busquet three-bet to 50,000 from one seat over. The EPT Grand Final champion of Season 10 moved all in for 232,000 and Busquet called.

Busquet: {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades}
O'Dwyer: {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}

The {J-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {7-Clubs} flop brought an additional flush draw for O'Dwyer, though the {6-Diamonds} on the turn changed nothing. The {7-Hearts} on the river was much to the liking of O'Dwyer as he doubled up with the nut flush.

Haxton Felted by Reinkemeier

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Isaac Haxton and Tobias Reinkemeier got their chips in before the flop. Haxton had a severe lead with {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} as he was up against Reinkemeier's {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}.

The flop came {7-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Reinkemeier immediately grabbed his {A-Spades} and rubbed it near the flop to magnetize some more spades. He got what he non-verbally asked for with the {10-Spades} on the turn.

Ole Schemion felt it coming to, and so it happened: {K-Spades} on the river. The most cruel of all spades popped up on the river and Haxton's pained face made his way out the door.

Raskin Busts with Kings to Tens in 1.4 Million Pot

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Micah Raskin
Micah Raskin

We just witnessed Olivier Busquet moving all in on a flop and Ivan Soshnikov tanking. Just one table behind us Micah Raskin was dumbfounded and verbally let the table know he was. We quickly turned around and wrote down the board of a 1.4 million pot.

We later found out that Raskin had opened to 25,000 and Leonid Markin had made it 75,000. Raskin then four bet to 140,000 and Markin shoved for effectively just over 700,000. Raskin had called.

Raskin had pocket kings and Markin was holding pocket tens. You might have guessed by now what had happened; a ten on the flop: {10-Hearts}{A-Spades}{2-Spades}. The {J-Diamonds} on the turn and {3-Clubs} on the river didn't help Raskin and after some counting it turned out Raskin was covered.

Reinkemeier and Kabrhel Tangle

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Tobias Reinkemeier bet 60,000 on the river of a {5-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {6-Spades} board and Kabrhel called off to see the German turn over {3-Spades} {8-Spades} for a back door flush.

The next hand, Reinkemeier raised to 25,000 from the button and Kabrhel moved all in to enforce a fold from the German.

Busquet Busts

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Olivier Busquet
Olivier Busquet

Olivier Busquet got the last of his chips in the middle when it folded to him on the button. Vladimir Troyanovskiy was in the big blind and made the call.

Busquet had the {9-Spades}{8-Spades} and was live against the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} of Troyanovskiy.

A run out of {j-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} saw Troyanovskiy hold on to his preflop lead and Busquet was the next player to be eliminated.
