Petit Doubles on the Bubble

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On the first hand of hand-for-hand play, Yury Gulyy opened for a raise in the cutoff, and Emile Petit three-bet shoved for 36,000 from the small blind. Gulyy called, and the two waited for all of the other tables to finish before revealing their hands.

Gulyy: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Petit: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Gulyy was already behind, and the {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop wasn't very helpful at all for the Russian. Petit was in great shape to double, and did so when the {8-Hearts} turned. Just to rub salt into Gulyy's wound, a meaningless {7-Spades} completed the board, and the chips were sent Petit's way.
