Mercier Short Again

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden raised under the gun plus two with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} to 80,000 and Jason Mercier three-bet to 185,000 with {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The action was folded back to Lodden who made the call.

The flop brought out {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{9-Spades} and both players checked. On the turn the {2-Spades} hit and Lodden checked again. Mercier threw out 135,000 and now Lodden decided to kick things up to 300,000. Mercier tanked for a while and called.

On the river the {Q-Clubs} hit and Lodden put Mercier all in. The American former EPT San Remo winner tanked for a while but eventually he decided to fold.
