Picking up the action on the flop in a single raised pot, Khossein Kokhestani in the big blind check-raised to 325,000 on A♥Q♠2♥ versus a bet of 85,000 from Stan Van Dijk. Van Dijk called.

On the 10♣ turn, Kokhestani continued with a bet of 300,000 and Van Dijk quickly called.

The 5♥ river completed the board, and Kokhestani fired out a bet of 225,000, blocker size, which caused Van Dijk shrugged his shoulders and call.

Kokhestani showed K♦J♦ for the turned straight and Van Dijk mucked.

Action folded to Jonas Stechbarth on the button, who opened to 120,000, while Timo Schmiedeke defended his big blind.

On the A♣Q♥8♠ flop, Schmiedeke check-called a bet of 90,000 from his opponent.

The 2♠ rolled off on the turn, and Schmiedeke again check-called, this time versus a bet of 180,000.

The 9♣ river was checked through. Schmiedeke showed A♦7♦ for a pair of aces, causing Stechbarth to muck while claiming he had pocket kings.

Short-stack Rens Buijs was all-in for around 550,000 and at risk versus Tim Werner.

Buijs was ahead but the Q♠10♠7♣ flop but Werner in front with a pair of queens. The 8♠ turn gave Buijs some additional outs, but the 9♠ river was not he required, and he was the first to depart the final table after a great run.

Around 600, 000 was in the middle on a completed board of 8♠2♠5♣Q♣K♠ in a hand between Khossein Kokhestani in the cutoff and Sergej Schumacher in the big blind.

Schumacher led out with a bet of 255,000, and after quite some consideration Kokhestani folded, claiming he had aces with no spade.
