Lenny Hiner
Lenny Hiner

The televised Kansas City Chiefs game recently concluded in the Golden Nugget Grand Ballroom and "Lucky" Lenny Hiner noted his joy while proudly wearing a red Chiefs hat.

He looks to continue his good fortune as he currently holds on to a stack of 12,400 with his tag team partner Renee Held, while Team Smith at the table is also aiming to qualify for tomorrow's finale.

Team Wagner Calls Down Versus Fishhooks

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

With 2,300 in the pot and a flop of {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, the middle position player bet 2,000 and Ed Wagner called on button.

The {10-Clubs} turn saw another 2,000 bet and a call, and Wagner again called a 2,000 bet on the {10-Spades} river.

The middle position player turned over {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} but it was no good as Wagner showed the {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for flopped top pair to take the pot.

Team Miles Calls a Bluff to Chip Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

On a {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop, Carolina Miles in the small blind and the big blind player both called the hijack's 600 bet.

The {k-Diamonds} came on the turn and after both blinds checked, the hijack bet 2,100. Only Miles continued to the river.

The {j-Diamonds} completed the board, and Miles check-called the hijack's 3,600 bet.

"Good call," the hijack said as he flipped over {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

Miles turned over {a-Spades}{10-Spades} to take down the pot with the better two pair.

Team Christianson Chops With Boat

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

With about 2,500 in the pot on a {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades} board, a player in middle position bet 700, the button called, and Jay Christianson raised to 1,700 in the big blind. Only the middle position player continued.

The {j-Clubs} completed the board and Christianson bet 4,000. His opponent called and the hands were turned over in the early sizable pot.

Jay Christianson: {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Middle Position: {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Both players held the same hand and turned a full house to split up the pot, as Christianson's partner Adam Dullum then took over to play some hands with an above-average stack.

Team Williams Gets the Ladies

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante
Terry Williams
Terry Williams

With about 3,000 in the pot and a flop of {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}, Terry Williams and another player were headed to the turn.

The turn brought the {7-Spades}. Williams bet 1,000 and his opponent called.

Both players checked the {6-Diamonds} river and hands were revealed. Williams turned over the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}, and the ladies were good against the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} of his opponent to send the early pot to Team Williams.
