2024 FPS Aix-les-Bains
Thomas Pandelis went all in on the button for his last 52,000 and it was folded to Brice de Kermadec, who snap-called from the big blind to put Pandelis at risk.
Thomas Pandelis: A♥J♣
Brice de Kermadec: K♥K♣
Pandelis was in rough shape against de Kermadec's cowboys, and the Q♥4♠4♥10♦10♥ offered no help to Pandelis, who was eliminated.
Cassandra Yong shoved for approximately 50,000 first to act and action folded to Morgan Deleaz, who called from the small blind to put Yong at risk.
Cassandra Yong: K♦Q♠
Morgan Deleaz: A♥9♥
The 4♣7♥A♠J♠2♣ runout left Deleaz best with a pair of aces and Yong was sent to the payout desk.
Three ways on a flop of Q♣J♥5♣, Kevin Hasler bet 15,000 from early position and was called by Jason Metz in middle position. Morgan Deleaz then shoved for 152,000 total from the hijack, which got a fold from Hasler and a call from Metz to put Deleaz at risk.
Morgan Deleaz: Q♠J♠
Jason Metz: 7♣6♣
Deleaz had the best of it with his two pair, but would need to fade clubs to double up.
The A♦ turn changed nothing, but got a groan from Hasler, who claimed to have folded Kx10x and would have turned Broadway.
The 9♥ river also bricked out and Deleaz doubled his stack.
Level: 18
Blinds: 4,000/8,000
Ante: 8,000
Karim Kaladjou opened from the hijack, then called after Michal Polchlopek on the button three-bet all-in for 139,000.
Michal Polchlopek: Q♣Q♥
Karim Kaladjou: A♥A♣
Polchlopek ran into aces on the bubble, so he needed a queen to survive. He couldn't find one on the K♦9♠5♥ flop, then was drawing dead when Kaladjou hit a set on the A♠. The 7♥ completed the board and Polchlopek was eliminated on the bubble.
Another all-in and call situation occurred at the same time, but the two players involved in this hand split the pot.
With 96 players remaining and 95 making the money, the tournament director has just announced that hand-for-hand play will commence until the money bubble has burst.
Everyone who survives the money bubble will take home at least €1,720 for their efforts.
2022 FPS Divonne winner Nicolas Hamouni in the big blind found himself at risk against Raul Martinez in the small blind.
Nicolas Hamouni: Q♠Q♥
Raul Martinez: A♥K♣
Hamouni was on his way to double up on J♠8♥3♥6♦, but Martinez hit the K♦ river to send Hamouni to the rail.
Simon Wiciak opened to 12,000 on the button and found one caller in Andrey Golubev in the small blind.
Both players checked on the 10♥7♦8♦ flop and then Golubev led out for 15,000 on the 2♣ turn. Wiciak raised to 32,000 and Golubev called.
The Q♥ completed the board and Golubev checked to Wiciak, who bet 57,000. Golubev tanked a while, but eventually decided to call and Wiciak tabled Q♣8♠ for two pair.
Golubev couldn't beat it and mucked — conceding the pot to Wiciak.
