Pedro Garagnani opened to 252,000 from the under-the-gun position and Damian Salas got it in for 1,178,698 out of the big blind, just shy of ten blinds. Garagnani snap-called and Salas was in need of help.

The flop was a disaster for Salas as he only had one out. No miracle followed on the turn and river, sending the Argentinian out in 7th place for $123,207.
Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb opened to 240,000 in the hijack and was called by Juan Pardo in the big blind. On a flop, Gottlieb opted to check and Pardo's bet of 216,000 took down the pot uncontested.
Pedro Garagnani then came along out of the big blind when "ILUCKuHARD" raised to 264,000. There was no betting action at all on the board and Garagnani claimed the pot with versus .
Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb defended the big blind against a button min-raise by Pedro Garagnani and the duo checked the flop. Gottlieb led the turn for 645,000 and the river for 1,451,250, both of which Garagnani called.
Gottlieb turned over but Garagnani had the better kicker in .
Several small pots brought no major action but the action then escalated between Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb and Juan Pardo. A button min-raise by the former was defended by the latter in the big blind and Pardo check-called for 268,750 on the flop.
Pardo check-called for another 354,750 on the turn and did so for a third time on the river when Gottlieb fired 1,338,375.
Gottlieb was bluffing all the way with and Pardo took the lead with for a straight.
Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb made it 200,000 to go and Andrea Dato three-bet jammed for the last 1,363,430. Gottlieb beat the Italian into the pot and that was a very bad sign for Dato.

The board ran out and Dato found no miracle escape, bowing out in 8th place.
Juan Pardo raised to 220,000 from under the gun and Andrea Dato three-bet to 500,000 from two seats over. Pardo piled it in with the superior stack and forced a fold from Dato.
One hand later, Pedro Garagnani opened to 210,000 and Pardo came along out of the big blind. The Spaniard check-called for 168,000 on the flop and both then opted to check the turn and river.
Pardo's was good enough to claim the pot, as Garagnani only had .
The following two pots were also sent to Pardo, who all but closed the gap to Jordan "PiePie" Cristos.
