"judd trump" Doubles on the Bubble

Level 29 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez raised to 70,000 and "judd trump" three-bet to 175,315, leaving themselves just 49,135 behind. Benitez used a large portion of his time bank and called. The jam followed on the {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and Benitez now called instantly.

"judd trump": {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The {3-Hearts} turn and {4-Hearts} river were both blanks, keeping "judd trump" in contention.

Nolet Bombs the River

Level 29 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Following a min-raise by Pedro Garagnani, Guillaume Nolet filled up from the big blind. The French-Canadian check-called the {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop when facing a bet worth 52,635 by Garagnani.

Neither player was interested in leading the {7-Spades} turn and Nolet then overbet the {10-Spades} river for 317,724. Garagnani dipped into his time bank and folded.

Martirosian Spikes an Ace to Double

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante

Artur Martirosian raised to 150,000 out of the small blind and kept 94,907 behind. Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez moved all-in with the far bigger stack and Martirosian called it off on the direct money bubble.

Artur Martirosian: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop brought no help yet but the {a-Diamonds} turn improved the Russian, who then faded the {10-Diamonds} river.

Wolff Eliminated by Benitez

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante
Wolff vs Benitez
Wolff vs Benitez

Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez min-raised to 60,000 and George Wolff defended the big blind. On a {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, Wolff checked and subsequently called a bet worth 39,875 by Benitez.

The {7-Spades} fell on the turn and Wolff checked once more. Benitez piled it in for more than 824,000 and that sent Wolff deep into the think-tank. He eventually called for 335,625 and was ahead.

George Wolff: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez: {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

Wolff needed to avoid an ace and a six but the {6-Spades} river sent him to the rail just shy of the money.

No Chip and Chair Miracle for Muehloecker

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante
Muehloecker vs Benitez
Muehloecker vs Benitez

Thomas Muehloecker raised to 50,000 and called the jam by Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez for 446,686 total.

Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Thomas Muehloecker: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-Spades} board left Muehloecker with a few chips and a chair. He quintupled the next hand with {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} as Benitez isolated with {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and missed the {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} board.

But there was no happy end for Muehloecker, who then called all-in versus Aram "Pusha T" Zobian in a blind battle the very next hand.

Thomas Muehloecker: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Aram "Pusha T" Zobian: {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

On a board of {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, Zobian spiked jacks and eights on the river, sending the field into hand-for-hand mode two off the money.

Stevens Jams Into Dzivielevski

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 3,500 ante

Bert Stevens opened to 52,500 in the final hand of the previous level, which resulted in a call by Yuri Dzivielevski out of the big blind. Dzivielevski check-called the {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop for 46,695 and the {a-Hearts} turn for 117,445.

On the {7-Diamonds} river, he checked once more and Stevens jammed with the covering stack. No call followed, as Dzivielevski used a portion of his time bank before folding.
