Late Registration Bonanza

Level 21 : 4,500/9,000, 1,100 ante

Up to 315 entries have now emerged as the final stages of the late registration have commenced. All the players below may opt to buy back in for 11 blinds as they have just been eliminated.

Another Bullet for Burns

Level 21 : 4,500/9,000, 1,100 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Ole Schemion simply jammed in with the {q-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Kahle Burns called for fewer than the starting stack with the {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

Both players flopped a pair on {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. The {j-Spades} turn changed nothing much, nor did the {5-Diamonds} river. Burns bought back in moments later to take yet another shot at the action.

Andersson Busts Badziakouski

Level 21 : 4,500/9,000, 1,100 ante
Badziakouski vs Andersson
Badziakouski vs Andersson

Joakim Andersson opened to 18,000 in the cutoff and was called only by Mikita Badziakouski in the big blind. As the flop fell {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, Badziakouski led for 36,975 and Andersson ripped it in for 273,560 with the covering stack. Badziakouski called it off for the 115,379 he had kept behind.

Mikita Badziakouski: {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Joakim Andersson: {k-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {10-Spades} turn was a blank but Andersson spiked the magic {6-Clubs} on the river.

Zhang Back With a Double

Level 21 : 4,500/9,000, 1,100 ante

Michael Zhang got it in from the big blind with the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} after he had recently re-entered. Artur Martirosian matched that from the hijack with the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} and saw the board run out [KJs10h7c3dAd].

More Recent Casualties

Level 21 : 4,500/9,000, 1,100 ante

Sami Kelopuro is certainly showing persistence as he bought in another three times and ran out of chips as many times to make it eleven bullets without success.

Once Upon a Dzivielevski River Bink

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Dzivielevski vs christoforou
Dzivielevski vs christoforou

Yuri Dzivielevski raised from under the gun and shipped it in when facing resistance by Andreas Christoforou on the button, picking up a quick call.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Andreas Christoforou: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

As the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and {2-Clubs} turn blanked, the usual Dzivielevski river bink was required and he, sure enough, got there with the {j-Diamonds}.

Christoforou was left with around the starting stack and busted two hands later.

Stevens Busts "MarathonOG"

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

"MarathonOG" had hung by a thread and doubled twice but then shipped it in with the {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Bert Stevens looked him up with the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} in the cutoff via re-shove and prevailed thanks to the {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board.

A Hand Without All-In and Call

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

While it may sound crazy during the current stage, there was just a hand without an all-in and call.

"xyzpoker" opened to 18,400 and was called by Daniel Dvoress on the button, Seth Davies filled up from the big blind. On the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop, Dvoress bet 16,000 and "xyzpoker" was the only caller. The {2-Hearts} turn and {k-Hearts} river were checked and Dvoress held the superior flush with {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} versus {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.
