Matakis Joins the Big Stacks

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

In a multi-way pot to the {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, Aliaksei Boika bet 3,287 on the button and was called by Ian "potamophobia" Matakis in the small blind and Nicolo Molinelli from an early position. Only Matakis check-called for 12,482 on the {5-Spades} turn when Boika bet once more and the {6-Diamonds} river was checked.

Matakis tabled the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the nuts and Boika's {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} was no longer any good.

In the next hand, Mataskis added even more chips to his stack to further gain ground.

No Dub for "jbubb901"

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante
jbubb901 vs Bilokur
jbubb901 vs Bilokur

Leonid "Mikleler" Bilokur limped in and Laszlo Molnar raised to 8,400 on the button. Table short stack "jbubb901" then jammed for 35,371 in the big blind and Bilokur went over the top to force out Molnar.

"jbubb901": {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Leonid "Mikleler" Bilokur: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The suited ace flopped best on {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and retained the lead on the {2-Spades} turn and {3-Hearts} river.

Emelyanov Out for Now

Level 5 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov lost further chips and then got it in for around five blinds with the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. His earlier nemesis, Damian Salas, made the call with the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and that spelled the end for Emelyanov on the first bullet, who crashed out from chip leader to rail in half an hour.

Salas Doubles Through Emelyanov

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante
Salas vs Emelyanov
Salas vs Emelyanov

Four ways to the {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop with 14,000 each in the middle, Damian Salas and Adrian Mateos checked. Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov bet 18,810 and Anatoly Filatov folded. Salas jammed for 96,652 to force a fold from Mateos, Emelyanov jammed over the top and the cards were turned over.

Damian Salas: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The {3-Clubs} turn sealed it for Salas which made the {q-Hearts} river a formality.

Nolet Doubles Through Kruk

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Christopher Kruk limped in and called a raise to 3,500 by Guillaume Nolet. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Kruk checked, which prompted a bet worth 2,640 by Nolet and a call. On the {a-Hearts} turn, Kruk check-called for another 8,765 and he then check-called the jam of his table neighbor for 27,895 on the {10-Hearts} river.

Kruk had {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens but Nolet doubled with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for a pair of aces.

Koon Loses a Chunk to "MarathonOG"

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Canada's "MarathonOG" raised to 2l000 and called a three-bet to 11,500 by Jason Koon in the small blind. The flop brought {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Koon checked to then call a bet worth 8,250 by his opponent. They checked the {7-Spades} turn and {8-Spades} river, which awarded the pot to "MarathonOG" with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} versus {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.

Fox Busts to Rudolph

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Christian Rudolph raised it up on the button and called a three-bet jam by Elio Fox from one seat over for more than 30 blinds.

Elio Fox: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Christian Rudolph: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The two baby pairs failed to connect on the {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} board and Fox was gone on the first bullet.
