Goh Pulls Into the Lead

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

Darrell Goh limp-raised to 11,552 out of the small blind and Luke Reeves made the call from the big blind to see a flop of {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Goh's bet worth 10,352 was called and the same followed on the {2-Clubs} turn for 29,600.

Goh then jammed the {j-Diamonds} river and Reeves called it off for the 44,726 he had behind and saw his {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} no good. Goh's {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for the overpair won the pot and Reeves immediately bought back in.

Chidwick Among the next Casualties

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

The first bullet of Stephen Chidwick started off quite badly and ended when he ended up second-best against Mikita Badziakouski.

The table closed right after the showdown which saw Chidwick's {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} no good on a board of {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}, as Badziakouski held {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for aces and queens.

Leikkonen vs Emelyanov

Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov min-raised from under the gun right before the blinds moved up and Markus Leikkonen three-bet to 6,000 from one seat over. Emelyanov made it 20,000 to go, Leikkonen clicked it back to 34,000 and the all-in and call followed.

Markus Leikkonen: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

What seemed destined to be a split pot ended in disaster for Emelyanov. The board ran out {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Leikkonen nailed four hearts for the double.
