Kelopuro Doubles Through Stevens; Doubles Ferreira

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante
Kelopuro vs Stevens
Kelopuro vs Stevens

Rui Ferreira raised to 6,720 on the button and Sami Kelopuro three-bet to 24,640 in the small blind. Bert Stevens four-bet to 52,640 in the big blind and Ferreira folded, Kelopuro called. On a flop of {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, Kelopuro check-jammed into a bt of 38,016 and Stevens called the shove for 69,201 total.

Sami Kelopuro: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Bert Stevens: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The {5-Spades} turn changed nothing, nor did the {2-Clubs} river.

One hand later, Kelopuro three-bet to 34,880 on the button following an open to 7,040 by Christian Rudolph and a call by Ferreira. Only Ferreira came along to the {q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop on which the Portuguese pro check-jammed for 115,956 and earned a call.

Rui Ferreira: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Sami Kelopuro: {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The {10-Spades} turn took away some outs from Kelopuro and the {8-Clubs} river was not enough to knock out Ferreira.

Down and Up for Malinowski

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Rui Ferreira raised to 5,880 and Timothy Adams came along on the button, as did Wiktor Malinowski in the small blind.

The {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop was checked and Adams bet the {q-Spades} turn for 6,720. Both opponents called to the {5-Hearts} river and Adams jammed for 43,726. Only Malinowski check-called with the {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} but Adams had broadway with {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Malinowski doubled right back one hand later when {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} held against the {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} of Christian Rudolph. It was a blank board of {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} which kept ace-high in the lead.

Barer and Holz Busto For Now

Level 10 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

Ami Barer wasn't able to build on his short stack and got it in preflop in a blind battle with Mike Watson.

Ami Barer: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Mike Watson: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The kicker played a pivotal role on the {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades} board to eliminate Barer.

Fedor Holz followed right after when he clashed with Shawn Daniels in a battle cutoff versus button.

Fedor Holz: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Shawn Daniels: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Board: {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Neither player connected and ace-king high was good enough for Daniels.

Pardo Eliminated by Chidwick

Level 10 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

Juan Pardo three-bet jammed for the final 43,660 out of the small blind and was called by the initial raiser Stephen Chidwick.

Juan Pardo: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Stephen Chidwick: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The ordinary flip took a twist on the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades} board as Pardo improved only for Chidwick to nail the set on the river.

Yan Loses a Chunk to Mateos

Level 10 : 1,400/2,800, 350 ante

Mikita Badziakouski further cemented his status as chip leader on his table while David Yan lost a bigger portion of his stack. Sam Greenwood re-entered on that table and Adrian Mateos then took another pot off Yan.

In a three-bet pot for 14,400 apiece, Yan check-called for 8,625 on the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop. They checked the {q-Hearts} turn and {3-Hearts} river to see Yan turn over {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. It was no good as Mateos had that beat with the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

Vousden Eliminated; Chidwick Doubles

Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Damian Salas min-raised for Samuel Vousden to call on the button and Matthias Eibinger jammed for 82,900 in the small blind. Salas folded and Vousden called all-in for fewer than that.

Samuel Vousden: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Matthias Eibinger: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Spades} and Vousden hit the rail.

Soon after, another all-in showdown took place on the same table when Stephen Chidwick was at risk after the {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades} turn, earning a call from Anatoly Filatov.

Stephen Chidwick: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Anatoly Filatov: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The {7-Spades} river changed nothing whatsoever and Chidwick avoided a re-entry for now.

Sammartino Doubles Through Daniels

Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Shawn Daniels opened to 5,040 in the cutoff and was called only by Dario Sammartino in the big blind. That led them to the {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop on which Sammartino check-raised to 18,180. Daniels reraised to 32,070 and called the shove of Sammartino for 74,540.

Dario Sammartino: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Shawn Daniels: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {k-Clubs} turn gave Daniels more outs but the {7-Diamonds} river was not what he was looking for.

Dzivielevski Soars to Big Stack

Level 9 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Yuri Dzivielevski had knocked out Nick Petrangelo on the first bullet when he called a bet of 16,500 by Petrangelo on the {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop and called the jam for 59,226 on the {8-Diamonds} turn.

Petrangelo tabled {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and was crushed by {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}, the {q-Hearts} river was a blank.

From there on, Dzivielevski earned another four pots in quick succession to join the big stacks.
