Nuter Takes From Yan

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

David Yan had chipped up earlier but all the profit vanished when he clashed with Timothy Nuter. Yan four-bet to 20,400 from under the gun and Nuter called in a middle position.

Yan led the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop for 6,280 and earned a call from his opponent to then check the {7-Spades} turn. Nuter bet 11,808 and that won the pot uncontested.

Nemeth Eliminated by Stevens
Nemeth Eliminated by Stevens

Following a raise to 2,000 by Andras Nemeth, Bert Stevens three-bet to 7,700 in the hijack and picked up a call by Nemeth. The {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop was check-called by Nemeth for 5,742 and he did so again after long consideration on the {2-Spades} turn for another 21,662.

Nemeth then checked the {9-Diamonds} river and Stevens ripped it in for 102,551 with the covering stack. Nemeth used almost his entire time bank and eventually called it off with the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

Stevens tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and scored the first knockout of the day.

Ronny Kaiser: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Nuter Jams Into Mateos

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

In the final hand before the break, Timothy Nuter raised the button to 2,300 and Adrian Mateos came along from the big blind. Mateos opted for a check-raise to 6,000 on the {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, which Nuter paid.

Mateos activated his time bank on the {5-Spades} turn and bet 18,000, Nuter called. The {5-Diamonds} river paired the board and Mateos now checked. Nuter moved all-in and that forced a fold from the Spanaird.

Kings No Good for Dzivielevski

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Yuri Dzivielevski made it 2,100 to go in the cutoff and was called by Sam Greenwood out of the small blind. The {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop saw Greenwood with a check-call for 4,557 and that spelled the end for all further action. They checked the {a-Diamonds} turn and {q-Hearts} river, and Greenwood's {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} won in showdown versus {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.
