Registration Closes, Prize Pool Finalized

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 1,200 ante

The end of registration has arrived after about 4 1/2 hours of play, and a total of 154 entries were logged — 104 uniques and 50 reentries. That means a prize pool of $1,540,000, about 50% better than the guarantee of $1 million.

Of the 38 players who had chips when registration closed, 20 will be paid, with a min-cash coming it at $15,502. The winner, meanwhile, will earn $111,599, plus a heap of bounties that figure to roughly double that amount.

Click the "Payouts" tab above for a full breakdown of the prize money.

Rudolph Doubles Through Haxton

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 1,200 ante

Isaac Haxton opened for 19,200 under the gun and Chris Rudolph made it 64,000 in the cutoff. Haxton shipped in and Rudolph called for about 250K.

Rudolph: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Haxton: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Haxton didn't get a sweat as Rudolph found a {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop to make a nut full house.

Gin on the Turn for Bruschi

Level 12 : 3,500/7,000, 1,000 ante

Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb just shoved on the button covering both blinds. Renan Bruschi called off about 190,000 in the small blind and Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez called for less.

Bruschi: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Gottlieb: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Benitez: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Benitez went worst to first on the {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts} flop but the {5-Diamonds} turn rocketed Bruschi into a huge lead. The {q-Spades} was no trouble to him and he scooped the whole pot along with a bounty for Benitez.

Schillhabel Waves Goodbye

Level 12 : 3,500/7,000, 1,000 ante
Stefan Schillhabel
Stefan Schillhabel

Stefan Schillhabel shoved for 128K in the small blind after Eelis Parssinen opened early to 16,099. Parssinen called with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, racing against {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

The {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{q-Spades} looked good for Schillhabel but the {10-Diamonds} turn brought trouble. Parssinen busted him with a superior pair on the {k-Hearts} river.

Schillhabel fired in the "goodbye" emoji and took his leave.

Muehloecker Busted Again

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 900 ante

Thomas Muehloecker gave it another shot but was all in and dominated with {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} against the {a-}{q-} of Andrii Novak for about a starting stack. Muehloecker turned a flush draw that also paired the board but a brick river doomed him once more.

Double KO for Jouhkimainen

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 900 ante

We only caught the end of the hand as the table closed afterward but Joni Jouhkimainen had two players at risk and it was a great spot for him holding {8-}{8-} against {a-}{k-} and {a-}{k-}. The eights prevailed and Jouhkimainen caused the table break with the double KO.
