Kelopuro Chips Up

Level 22 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Isaac Haxton opened for 28,000 from early position and was called by Sami Kelopuro from the cutoff.

Haxton fired out for 51,625 on the {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop and Kelopuro called. Haxton then check-called a bet of 49,525 on the {2-Hearts} river.

The {6-Clubs} river completed the board and Haxton checked before he gave up on the hand facing a bet of 233,240 from Kelopuro.

Full Chip Counts at Break

Level 22 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

"xyzpoker" lost their short-stack shortly before the break to leave 15 players remaining and 13 guaranteed at least a min-cash of $44,861.

Malinowski was leading the way of the final 15 players. Here is a look at all of the chip counts at the break.

Two Tables Remain

Level 22 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

The table quickly broke but Timothy Nuter got it in with {a-}{j-} and didn't win a flip against Pedro Garagnani's {9-}{9-}.

The action was down to just 16 players and consolidated onto two tables after that hand.

End of the Line for O'Dwyer

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Stephen O'Dwyer opened for 26,400 from the hijack before he called off for 228,645 facing a button jam by Sami Kelopuro.

Stephen O'Dwyer: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Sami Kelopuro: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

O'Dwyer hit top pair on the {8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop but this also gave Kelopuro a set. The {3-Clubs} turn opened up a flush draw but O'Dwyer was ousted in 18th place when that failed to complete on the {2-Spades} river.

Filatov Ousts Greenwood

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Anatoly Filatov opened to 36,00 from under the gun and was called by Sam Greenwood from the big blind.

Filatov fired out for 41,205 on the {9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop and Greenwood called off for his stack of 30,874.

Sam Greenwood: {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Anatoly Filatov: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Both players had top pair but Greenwood had kicker problems. Those problems weren't solved on the {j-Diamonds} turn nor the {3-Diamonds} river and Greenwood was eliminated in 19th place.

Stacks Over 1M

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Wiktor Malinowski, Samuel Vousden, and David Coleman were the only three players over 1 million in chips and were also on the same table with three tables remaining.

Haxton Eliminates Eibinger

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Just before the blinds increased, Matthias Eibinger opened for 20,000 from early position. Isaac Haxton raised to 48,000 from the hijack. Eibinger four-bet jammed for 236,006 and Haxton called.

Matthias Eibinger: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Isaac Haxton: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Haxton's ladies were good enough to win the hand with the {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} board blanking Eibinger to send him packing.
