Kaiser Doubles Into the Lead

Level 36 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski limped in and Ronny Kaiser checked his option to the {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. Kaiser check-called for the minimum and did so again for 510,000 on the {q-Hearts} turn. On the {2-Hearts} river, Kaiser had fewer than 1.5 million behind and checked once again.

Badziakouski bet 1.7 million and Kaiser snapped it off with {q-Clubs}{3-Spades} for two pair to double against a bluff gone wrong for Badziakouski, who had missed a gutshot with {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}.

Seven in a Row For Badziakouski

Level 36 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

After the blinds moved up, Mikita Badziakouski won seven pots in a row uncontested and that established a near 3-1 lead over Ronny Kaiser. Two hands saw a flop and one went to the {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts} turn on which Badziakouski overbet for 520,000 to force a fold.

Up and Down in Heads-Up Play

Level 35 : 70,000/140,000, 17,500 ante

Ronny Kaiser struck back against Mikita Badziakouski when he called a bet worth 315,000 on the {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Spades} turn and Badziakouski check-folded the {k-Clubs} river to Kaiser's 708,750 bet.

Badziakouski dragged in the next three pots in a row but Kaiser recovered that once more. In a min-raised pot to the {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop, Badziakouski check-called for 280,000 and subsequently check-folded the {3-Clubs} turn when Kaiser fired a second barrel for 672,000.

Badziakouski Jams Back Into the Lead

Level 35 : 70,000/140,000, 17,500 ante

Mikita Badziakouski won three pots in a row to pull into the narrowest possible lead over Ronny Kaiser to then win another big pot and regain his former lead.

On the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} turn in a limped and checked through pot until then, Badziakouski check-raised from 140,000 to 735,000 and Kaiser called. Badziakouski jammed the {j-Hearts} river for 2.66 million and that forced a fold.

Badziakouski then min-raised to earn a call and it was Kaiser who check-raised the {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop from 140,000 to 428,750. Badziakouski stuck around to face a bet of 630,000 by Kaiser on the {8-Hearts} turn and stuffed it in to shut down the resistance of his opponent.

A Double and More for Kaiser

Level 34 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Ronny Kaiser limped the small blind and instantly called all-in when Mikita Badziakouski jammed it in with the superior stack.

Ronny Kaiser: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Mikita Badziakouski: {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

Nothing changed on the {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop but the {3-Diamonds} turn was a huge double-draw for Badziakouski. Any diamond, deuce, four or seven were at his disposal and instead the {10-Hearts} river saw Kaiser double into the lead.

Badziakouski also paid off a 382,500 river bet on the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} board. Kaiser had a superior flush with {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} versus {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Kaiser Calls Correctly

Level 34 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski limped the small blind and Ronny Kaiser checked his option. On the {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Kaiser check-called for 120,000 and the {3-Clubs} turn was checked. Kaiser then checked the {a-Spades} river for 750,000 and Badziakouski made it 750,000 to go.

Kaiser tanked and used the remainder of his time bank to call with {4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for the second bottom stack. It was good, as Badziakouski had bluffed the {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

Badziakouski Pulls Further Ahead

Level 34 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

The next limped pot to the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} turn saw Ronny Kaiser with a lead for 210,000 and Mikita Badziakouski called. On the {10-Hearts} river, Kaiser checked and eventually folded to a bet worth 675,000 by Badziakouski.

With just two blinds each invested to the {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Spades} river, Badziakouski then jammed the river and Kaiser folded.

Some Value for Kaiser

Level 34 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

In a limped pot without any betting action on the {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, Ronny Kaiser bet the {5-Clubs} turn for 120,000. Mikita Badziakouski called and did so again for 382,500 on the {8-Hearts} river.

Kaiser showed {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for the nine-high straight, which had the {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} of Badziakouski crushed.
