Batch of New Entries

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

One of the satellites must have just ended as the field was bumped by more than two dozen entries at once. Some of the notables who joined can be found below.

Top 10 Stacks in the Break

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Ponakovs Second Re-Entry for the Day

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Aleksejs Ponakovs open-jammed for 4,046 and was isolated by Matthias Eibinger in the cutoff.

Aleksejs Ponakovs: {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Matthias Eibinger: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and the diamond flush sent Ponakovs to the rail but he re-entered right away.

Benitez Doubles Through Ponakovs

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Russia's "jakedini" showed a big bluff with jack-six high after they had jammed the river and forced a fold from Jargo Alavali. "ULMFKR" also lost a big pot albeit without showdown against "jakedini" and up next there was an all-in showdown on the same table.

In a three-bet pot to the {q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop with 6,000 each invested, Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez engaged in a raising war with Aleksejs Ponakovs that got all the chips in the middle.

Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Aleksejs Ponakovs: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The {k-Diamonds} turn locked up the double for Benitez and the {3-Diamonds} river didn't matter.

Malinov Chips Up Further; Rudolph Re-Enters

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante
Rudolph eliminated by Malinov
Rudolph eliminated by Malinov

Arsenii Malinov made it 1,680 to go on the button and David Yan three-bet to 10,080 in the big blind, which Malinov opted to call. Yan led the {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop for 15,945 to receive a call from Malinov and then check-folded the {q-Diamonds} turn to a bet worth 14,400.

Malinov won more pots after that and then took a flip against Christian Rudolph.

Christian Rudolph: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Arsenii Malinov: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The pair remained ahead on the {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop and {k-Spades} turn. However, the {a-Hearts} river improved Malinov and Rudolph snap re-entered into the same seat.

Emelyanov Involved in a Ton of Action

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

Roman "RRomashka" Emelyanov won a three-way three-bet pot against Nick Petrangelo and Seth Davis when he bet the {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{q-Clubs} turn successfully.

One hand later, Mike Watson took on Emelyanov with 2,000 invested to the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop. Watson bet 6,000 into 5,200 and Emelyanov check-raised to 14,600, which Watson called. On the {9-Clubs} turn, Emelyanov bet 11,352 to force a fold and flashed {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a bluff.

Davies got some chips back off the Russian when he called down for 1,742 on the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts} turn and 6,572 on the {3-Spades} river, Emelyanov flipped over {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for bottom pair and Davies had the winning {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a pair of kings.

Jerbi Beats Dvoress in Showdown

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

Throughout the last dozen hands, Daniel Dvoress scored several pots to boost his stack while Sam Greenwood lost almost half of his stack already on the same table.

Ravid "jerbi9999" Garbi then three-bet the button to 8,640 and initial raiser Guillaume Nolet folded, Dvoress called in the cutoff. They checked down the {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades} board entirely and Jerbi took it down with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} versus {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

Holz Chips Up; Rudolph More Than Doubles

Level 3 : 400/800, 100 ante

David Yan three-bet to 7,128 and was called by Fedor Holz in a battle small blind versus button. On the {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, Yan elected to check-call for 4,740 and did so again for another 20,103 on the {2-Diamonds} turn.

Yan also checked the {4-Clubs} river and Holz jammed for 65,213. That proved to be too much, as Yan folded without using the time bank.

Two hands later, Yan raised and Laurynas Levinskas called on the button. Christian Rudolp ripped it in for 10,160 in the small blind and Yan was the only caller.

Christian Rudolph: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
David Yan: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}

The {10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} board gave Rudolph a flush and he more than doubled.
