Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Koon vs Rudolph
Koon vs Rudolph

Christian Rudolph made it 35,200 to go and Jason Koon simply moved all-in from the small blind with the covering stack, which Rudolph called.

Christian Rudolph: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Jason Koon: {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

Koon improved on the {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop while Rudolph picked up some counterfeit outs on the {6-Clubs} turn. Sure enough, exactly that's what happened when the {a-Spades} fell on the river to keep Rudolph in contention.

The pair remained ahead on the {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and {9-Spades} turn but Vousden got there on the {a-Diamonds} river.

Lev "LevMeAlone" Gottlieb called the min-raise by Paulius Plausinaitis from under the gun and they headed to the {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop. Plausinaitis check-called for 52,000 and did so again for 104,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn. He had 252,978 behind and checked the {k-Clubs} on the river.

Gottlieb pulled the trigger with the superior stack and Plausinaitis eventually called with {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. It was no good, as Gottlieb had made kings full of tens with the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Level 24 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

George Wolff raised to 24,000 and called a three-bet to 62,400 by Dan Smith in the cutoff.

On the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop, Wolff check-called for 35,000 and did so again for 54,000 on the {5-Clubs} turn. The {9-Clubs} river was checked and Wolff's {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a missed open ender was no good, as Smith had the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

Volkmann Eliminated by Peters

Michael Zhang: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board further improved Zhang to jacks full.
