Another Dub for Vieira Through Muehloecker

Level 25 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

Benjamin Rolle opened for 55,000 second to act and Thomas Muehloecker called on his left. Joao Vieira shoved for 303K in the big blind and Muehloecker called.

Muehloecker: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Vieira: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} was clean for Vieira.

Peters Cooked Near Bubble

Level 25 : 12,500/25,000, 3,000 ante

David Peters was down to a few blinds and got them in with {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} against {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. The {4-Spades}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs} was no good for him but he found the {a-Diamonds} on the turn. However, a {j-Spades} river sent the pot to Benjamin Rolle.

The tournament is now hand-for-hand on the bubble.

Eibinger Flops Perfect

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Artur Martirosian opened for 190,000 under the gun, leaving a couple of blinds behind. Matthias Eibinger jammed in the cutoff for about 220K and Martirosian called with {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Eibinger showed {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

The {10-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop was nearly worst case for Martirosian as a king would only make Eibinger an unbeatable hand. The turn left him dead and he busted the last 14K the next hand.

Zhao Running Back Up

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Wei Zhao was down to 80K in the last level but has run up a solid stack. First, he doubled with {a-}{k-} against the {a-}{3-} of Artur Martirosian. After winning a few pots without showdown, he jammed for 286K on the button and was at risk with {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} against the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} of big blind Matthias Eibinger.

Zhao found a queen on the flop and that was enough to double.

Watson Puts a Beat on Davies

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Mike Watson opened in the cutoff for 35,000 and called the shove of Seth Davies on his left for 208K.

Davies: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Watson: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Watson was dominated but found a pair on the {9-}{k-}{k-} Flop. Davies put in the "one time" emoji on the {q-} turn but missed on the river.

Gonzalez Dominated and Busted

Level 22 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Fabrizio Gonzalez shoved for about 200,000 over an open from Thomas Muehloecker, who called with {a-}{k-}. Gonzalez was in trouble with {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} but did get a {5-}{3-}{3-} flop that offered chopping possibilities. Unfortunately for him, the sweat ended with a king on the turn.

Vieira Doubles on the River

Level 22 : 7,000/14,000, 1,750 ante

Joao Vieira shoved all in for 151K second to act and Thomas Muehloecker had him at risk on the button with {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Vieira was dominated with {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and looked to be out the door as {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} hit but the {k-Hearts} river saved him.
