Barer Eliminates Reeves

Level 12 : 1,800/3,600, 450 ante

Amichai Barer opened for 7,559 from the hijack. Lucas Reeves three-bet jammed for 40,905 from the button and Barer called.

Lucas Reeves: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Amichai Barer: {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Barer connected with the {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board to give him a better two pair than his opponent and Reeves opted not to re-enter immediately after the hand.

Menard Outflips Eibinger

Level 12 : 1,800/3,600, 450 ante

Matthias Eibinger opened for 7,560 from middle position and got a call from Patrick "Pepsi_zero" Semrau in the hijack. Kyle Menard jammed the button for 101,575. Eibinger called and Semrau folded.

Matthias Eibinger: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Kyle Menard: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop paired up Menard and Eibinger lost the flip with neither the {7-Clubs} turn nor the {4-Hearts} river able to help. Eibinger didn't immediately re-enter after the hand for his potential third bullet but still has time with more than 1 1/2 hours remaining in late registration on Day 1a.

Three-Way Hold with Rockets for Ward

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Olivier Rebello open-jammed from early position. Ben Ward called from the hijack before Ilya Anatski jammed from the small blind for 136,930. Ward, who had both players covered, made the call.

Olivier Rebello: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Ilya Anatski: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Ben Ward: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The {7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} ran out on the board and Ward won the pot with aces over tens while sending two opponents to the rail.

Assorted Chip Counts

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Rockets Hold for Satubayev

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante

Christian Rudolph just dusted off his second bullet. The hand began with Shyngis Satubayev opening for 7,040 from under the gun. Rudolph raised to 19,200 and Satubayev called.

Satubayev check-raised the {j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop from 14,080 to 34,320. Rudolph jammed for 91,874 and Satubayev called.

Christian Rudolph: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Shyngis Satubayev: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Rudolph needed a bit of help to get into the hand. The {9-Hearts} turn opened up a gutshot straight draw but Rudolph was unable to get lucky and instead hit the rail after the {k-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Rudolph will hope the third time is the charm as he got back into the action after the hand.

Baron Loses Two Flips

Level 11 : 1,600/3,200, 400 ante
Isaac Baron
Isaac Baron

Isaac Baron lost two flips to lose all of his chips.

In the first flip, David Coleman three-bet jammed for 58,930 with {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Baron called with {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. The {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} ran out on the board to counterfeit Baron's pair and give Coleman a double-up with his ace-kicker.

A few hands later, Baron four-bet jammed for 62,977 with {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and was called by "J-Dubya" with {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. The {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board gave his opponent a better two pair and Baron didn't opt to immediately re-enter after the hand.
