The second match of the day will kick off in about ten minutes. The players, Anatoly Filatov and George Danzer, are both familiar with winning in this heads-up format.

Filatov is one of the best scoring players in this inaugural Global Poker League season. The Moscow Wolverines player contributed 50 points to the Wolverines total of 130.

In his five heads-up matches he played so far, Filatov scored 24 points. He won two heats against Vanessa Selbst, Jonathan Little and Bryn Kenney. He had to settle for just one win, raking in three points, against Mike Leah and Chance Kornuth.

Even if Filatov fails to score any points today, his team will stay on top of the Eurasia conference standings. They have a 17-point lead on the London Royals and Hong Kong Stars.

Danzer will try some costly points for the Paris Aviators. After Timothy Adams sweep moments ago, they are now in fifth place with 108 points.

Danzer himself is familiar with sweeps, he scored the maximum nine points earlier this season against Igor Kurganov. In his second, and final heads-up so far, he only score three points against Mustapha Kanit.
