There was a pot of around 400,000 in the middle and Marc Harris had checked the river of over to R B who had bet 180,000.
Harris apologised as he thought over his decision.

John Lynch came through Day 1g of the Grosvenor Goliath X Main Event as chip leader and has put his stack to good work, moving up the counts to sit with a stack of 1,700,000 in chips.

S P made the call, and the two players saw the turn . S P checked again, and Milner moved all in, covering S P.
S P snap-called for his last 281,000, putting himself at risk, and the cards were tabled.

S P was way in the lead with his flopped top set of tens, but the river was a cold dagger to the heart as the dealer flipped over the to give Milner a bigger set.
"Unbelievable," S P groaned as he stared in disbelief as his tournament life was extinguished before his eyes. Meanwhile, Milner raked in the pot to boost his chip count to 1,500,000, one of the largest in the tournament.
