Yanev Licks Lai
Level 26
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
A pot of around 600,000 had developed by the river on a board of K♦8♣6♠7♠4♠, in a hand between Hok Lai on the button and Yani Yanev in the big blind.
Yanev checked and Lai jammed for around 525,000. Yanev went deep into thought, but made the call after around two minutes.
Lai tapped the table and showed A♥Q♠ for ace-high, and Yanev took the pot with K♠Q♥ for top pair kings.
