Rick Trigg didn't have to wait long for redemption, after his near miss in the GUKPT Main Event, as just a few days later he took down the GOLIATH Super High Roller.
From a field of 30 players, Trigg bagged the Day 1 chip lead and converted that into a win for £38,000. He defeated Xiaoyun Li heads-up, with familiar British faces Tom Hall and Brandon Sheils rounding out the payouts.
GOLIATH £3,000 Super High Roller Final Table Results
The largest starting flight of the GOLIATH so far took place yesterday, with 139 players advancing from a field of 1,740. They will join the 438 survivors from the starting four flights when play resumes on Saturday, August 2.
While no player bagged up over a million in chips, there was still plenty of action going on at the venue, with Day 2 of the Mystery Bounty and the final table of the Super High Roller keeping the GOLIATH action coming.
With just two more flights to come from the GOLIATH, how large will it get?

Full 2025 Goliath Schedule
Although the £200 Goliath and its estimated £2 million prize pool is the crown jewel of the Goliath festival, there are more than a dozen tournaments and satellites for grinders to get involved in.
Expand the table below to reveal the full 2025 Goliath schedule.
After 2,175 players entered on Day 1f — the second-largest GOLIATH Day 1 in history — the event is already 1,200 entries ahead of 2024. And with over 3,000 entries expected on Day 1G, the number is set to surpass the £2 million prize pool mark.
Goliath Day 1F Top 10 Chip Counts
A total of 184 players advanced from the 2,175-player field on Day 1F, bringing the total of players advancing to Day 2 to 761. Leading the 184 survivors from Day 1F is Jack Semple who was the only player over a million in chips. He leads from 2024 GUKPT Edinburgh High Roller final tablist Ciprian Berdan and 2020 GUKPT London Main Event champion Artan Dedusha.
Also through is 2024 NPL and UKPL Player of the Year Matthew Davenport with 325,000.
A field of 2,368 is scarcely believable, but the single largest GOLIATH Day 1 in history is in the books with 197 players advancing from a monster field.
Leading the way is King Ko with 1,005,000 as they book their place in Day 2. In addition to the survivors from the Day 1H-Turbo (details below) that brings the total number of palyers through to Day 2 to 1,059 from a massive field of 12,937.
There was also time left in the day for the last live starting flight in the Day 1H-Turbo. 991 players entered that with 101 players advancing. Joseph Gibbons (1,360,000) and Gilbert Black (1,100,000) were the only players to bag up seven-figure stacks.
Day 2 of the Goliath is upon us and, true to form, has the event has broken its own records from last years edition.
A total of 12,397 entries saw the prizepool eclipse the £2 million mark with 1,059 players returning today to fight out for the first place prize £316,640.
All players returning for Day 2 have locked up £430 but will have their eyes on that life changing score as the levels play out.

After an extraordinary day of poker, a field of 1,058 survivors on Day 2 of the 2025 GOLIATH has been reduced to just 40.
Paul Worsley had held the chip lead with 60 players remaining, but he fell back as a late surge from W.T saw them bag the chip lead. Their stack of 24,775,000 is well clear of Ben Parkin (16,525,000) and Jaz Meegan (16,2745,000), with Worsley close behind.
