Nelson Takes One

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

We caught the action with three players putting in 3,700 each preflop. The flop came {6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Nidal Elhassan and Gohshi Morita checked to John Nelson, who bet 3,200. Elhassan put out a raise to 8,500, Morita folded and Nelson made the call. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and after some thought Elhassan checked. Nelson slid out 9,000 and Elhassan went into the tank.

Elhassan eventually folded and Nelson took the healthy pot.
