HPO Columbus Main Event Day 1b

Welcome to Day 1b of the main event for the latest stop on the Hollywood Poker Open Regional Tour. The Hollywood Casino Columbus is the host for the seventh and final stop for the series, which will culminate with the $500,000 guaranteed championship event next month at the M Resort in Las Vegas.

Sunday marks the second flight of two Day ones with a $1,115 buy-in and a $100,000 guarantee. Last year’s regional stop drew 126 entrants, though with a more significant buy-in of $1,800. With the lower buy-in, the Day 1b field saw 152 entries and the guarantee quickly became an afterthought. If the tournament sees a similar number here on Day 1b, the pool may come close to or exceed the $300,000 mark.
