The HPO is running a Leaderboard contest where the player with the most points at the end of the tournament series will win a seat to the Championship Event at the M Resort in Las Vegas in the summer of 2015. John Moe is the current leader after winning not one, not two, but three of the preliminary events over the past two weeks. Moe isn't content, however, as he's building a big stack here today and currently has one of the bigger stacks in the room with 140,000.
Can he make it four? We'll find out soon enough.

John Moe continues his ascent while former chip leaders T.M. Williams and Alex Yen have taken hits to their stacks. Chris Moneymaker is no more and there are 72 players left with two and a half hours of play left.

We didn't catch the hand but Chad Eveslage has gathered his things and walked out the door while a player at his table proclaimed "at least I won a flip."

"All in and a call," said the dealer at Table 43 with the board showing . Andrew Jeffrey turned over for a rivered set of tens leading to his opponent in the hand, Jared Palmer, to mutter "sweet river" as he tabled for a flopped top two pair that was no good after the river was dealt.
Jeffrey doubled up to 75,000 leaving Palmer with close to the same amount as he ended the hand with 71,000.
