Brown Mucks Tens

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Bobby Brown opened for 6,000 in middle position and then called a three-bet to 13,000 from the cutoff. Brown checked the {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, and the cutoff moved all in, putting Brown at risk for about 50,000.

"Aw, f***," he said, tossing back his hood and putting his head in his hands.

He muttered how it didn't make any sense as he tanked and rubbed it forehead, but ultimately he mucked {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} face-up after a couple of minutes.

"Queens?" he asked.

The cutoff only shook his head.

Ezzie Doubles Through Ross

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Raymond Ezzie
Raymond Ezzie

Mike Ross raised from middle position and then called the shove of Raymond Ezzie, who had 32,300 in the big blind.

Ross: {q-}{q-}
Ezzie: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Ross stalked away from the table in frustration when Ezzie flopped him dead on {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

"So, you were waiting for the ole king-queen?" Ross asked Ezzie.

"Best hand I've had," Ezzie said with a shrug as he stacked his newly-won chips.

Bell Outkicks One

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

A player in middle position bet 5,000 on a {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, and Ron Bell raised to 20,000 on the button, folding out the two blinds in the raised pot. On the {6-Hearts} turn, both players checked, and a {2-Spades} river brought the three-flush. The first player bet 18,000, and Bell quickly called. He was shown {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for trips, but Bell had {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for better trips.

Hahn Flats a Set

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante
Michael Hahn
Michael Hahn

The player in the small blind bet 12,000 into big blind Michael Hahn on a board of {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}, and Hahn called. On the {7-Spades} river, the small blind looked ready to bet then checked. Hahn bet 20,000, and the small blind asked the dealer to spread the pot. There looked to be roughly 50,000 in there, and the small blind called.

Hahn showed him {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a set.

Ross Swats a Fly

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Mike Ross called from the small blind when a player on the button shoved all in for 9,800.

Ross: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Button: {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The first four cards came {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, so another diamond would also chop the pot for Ross' opponent, but the board paired harmlessly with the {10-Spades}.
