In quick succession, Eric Squire and HPO Ambassador Chris Moneymaker hit the rail.
Squire had been left short after doubling up John Bowman.
Moneymaker lost a big pot on the last hand of Day 1a, and hadn't really played a hand before getting all in. There are 33 players remaining, just six off the money.
Mike Melena shoved all in under the gun for his last 51,000 and Sai Mudduluru called. The remaining players folded and the two were heads up.
Melena turned over
