Deja Vu?

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Simon Deadman limped from the small blind, Kitty Kuo raised to 300,000 and Deadman four-bet to 805,000. Again, Kuo folded to the large three-bet.

Shortly after, the Brit lost some of the acquired profit against the {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} of Martin Godsk, but he remains our chip leader at the moment.

Who has the higher VPP?

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Simon Deadman raised to 200,000 out of the small blind and Kitty Kuo three-bet to 600,000. "Why do you raise me?" Deadman asked. "You have a VPP of 100, I have to raise you. I only have a VPP of 80," Kuo replied before collecting the chips after the fold of Deadman.

One orbit later, Deadman limped from the small blind and Kuo raised to 300,000. Deadman now four-bet to 815,000 and that did the trick, Kuo folded.

Elliott Zaydman Eliminated in 5th Place ($71,781)

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Elliott Zaydman
Elliott Zaydman

Elliott Zaydman moved all in from early position for just under six big blinds and the action folded to Kitty Kuo in the big blind. She asked for a count and then made the call.

Kuo: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Zaydman: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The rail of Kuo was asking for an ace whereas Zaydman requested the six-ball. On the {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, Zaydman stayed ahead but Kuo now also picked up a flush draw.

The {Q-Spades} on the turn changed nothing but the {A-Clubs} river completed a flush for Kuo and she let out a "yess", her rail cheered.

Zaydman smiled even in defeat and they shook hands before he would head to the payout desk in order to collect $71,781 for his efforts.

Deadman Jams into Zaydman

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Elliott Zaydman raised to 225,000 and Martin Godsk folded, accidentally exposing the {6-Clubs}. Simon Deadman asked for the stack size of his opponent before making the call out of the big blind. On the {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, Deadman moved all in and enforced a fold from Zaydman.

Godsk and Deadman butting Heads

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 5,000 ante

Martin Godsk raised to 160,000 from the button and Simon Deadman called from the big blind. On the {J-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} flop, Deadman check-raised from 175,000 to 430,000 and Godsk called. The {7-Hearts} turn saw the Brit betting 545,000 and again Godsk didn't get anywhere.

Deadman checked the {7-Clubs} river and Godsk checked behind to muck his cards after Deadman flipped over {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

The very next hand, Deadman also three-bet an open raise from Michael Wang to 445,000 and shut down all further action.

Go ur Side

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 5,000 ante

One of the favorite sayings from Kitty Kuo is "go ur side" and she just clawed back some chips after previously losing two confrontations against Michael Wang. Wang opened to 170,000 and Kuo called in the big blind to see the {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop.

Both checked and Wang then bet 140,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn. Kuo called and the {5-Hearts} river was checked through again. Kuo announced a straight and Wang mucked {K-}{J-}. Kuo raked in the pot with {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The hand after, Simon Deadman raised to 160,000 and Kuo won the pot with a successful three-bet to 375,000.

In other unrelated news, the rail from Deadman has grown as Andrew Hulme, Sin Melis, Mitch Johnson and Fraser Macintyre all arrived as well.
