We just saw Alex Goulder check-call 400 on the flop and 1,050 on the [)h] turn before him and the opponent checked the river. The Brit announced the eight and that won him the pot, he flipped over to beat ace high.
On the turn, Jason Tompkins called 1,100 from an opponent and then bet 2,150 on the river after the action got checked to him. The opponent called rather quickly and Tompkins mucked when shown to drop some of the profit he accumulated thus far.
Players are now on a 15-minute break. The floor has congratulated them on hitting their first milestone of the day... "Congratulations on making the first break."
On the flop, Chance Kornuth called a bet of 1,100 and did so again on the turn for 1,400. After the river, the opponent bet 7,000 and that was good enough to take down the pot.
