Carrocio Back in the Game

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Nathaniel Geiss raised and then called the three-bet shove of Ron Carrocio one seat over for 94,500 chips. It was a classic flip with {A-}{K-} versus {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Carrocio was very delighted about the {5-Clubs} as door card. The rest of the board ran out {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades} and Carrocio said to all opponents on the table "well guess who is back in the game."

Dubinskyy Doesn't Fall for the Trap

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Igor Dubinskyy raised from late position to 8,000 and Andrew Lichtenberger made the call out of the blinds to see the {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. Both players checked and Lichtenberger then check-called 12,000 after the {5-Spades} river.

The {7-Hearts} river completed the board and "luckychewy" checked for a third time. Dubinskyy checked behind and was shown {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for the nut flush.

Simon Deadman
Simon Deadman

First Simon Deadman lost a flip with pocket nines against {A-}{J-}. As consolation, the poker gods sent him {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and another short stack with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. The board ran out {2-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Deadman more than made up for the lost chips from before.

Earlier in the day we were talking up Ron Carrocio and his play including some tweets from impressed professionals. Now Carrocio is in danger of not even making the money as he sits with a stack of under 100,000 with 80 players remaining.
