Cory Bogert

From the cutoff seat, Cody Bogert raised all in for 48,000. Steven van Zadelhoff made the call from the big blind with the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}, and Bogert had the {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{J-Spades}{K-Clubs}, and Bogert was eliminated.

After a few seconds Cuny called, and the showdown went as following .

Mateos Soaring, Cuny Hurting

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ray Cuny started the day with a bang, climbing to 420,000 in the process and sitting atop the chip counts for a while. Just now though - in hand without showdown - Adrian Mateos took a large chunk out of his stack.

"It was without showdown," Mateos said, as we were unable to uncover what had happened.

"I did win another big pot," Mateos continued, as he summarized the following.

Mateos raised with pocket kings and got called by three players, after which the flop brought out {Q-}{6-}{7-}. Mateos bet, the player on his left called and the other two - in the blinds - folded.

On the turn Mateos got his opponent all in with king-queen, and his big pair held up.

No Glitch in the Matrix

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Michael Aron just got in a hand with Calvin Anderson, finding just about the same result as most others who have tried to do the same today.

Heads-up on an {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, Aron check-called 8,000 from Anderson on the button. He also check-called another 16,300 on the {4-Hearts} turn.

Finally, on the {4-Spades} river, both players checked, with Anderson showing another in what appears to be a never-ending string of winners: The {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

Aron limped away from the fight still holding on to a healthy stack of just under 300,000, as Anderson increased his lead on the field sitting on over half a million chips.

Lettau Sends One Home

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

EPT Barcelona champion Andre Lettau just knocked out a player as the tournament is now down to just 125 hopefuls.

We caught the action on the flop when the flop showed {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts} and the player in the big blind bet 9,000. Lettau made the call and on the turn the {J-Hearts} hit.

The big blind moved all in for 25,400 and Lettau verbally announced, "Call" right away.

Lettau: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The river was the {6-Clubs} and Lettau raked in the pot.

Henson Leaves It All Behind

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ray Henson jammed 51,500 over a 6,500-chip open from Michael Gagliano, and Joao Vieira re-shoved out of the big blind for a little more.

Gagliano gave up the gig, and Henson's tournament life was riding on the {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} versus Vieira's {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} left Henson lacking, and he hit the rail, ironically leaving behind some kind of card protector with a motto engraved on it saying something about timing, patience and luck — None of which were displayed in this hand.
