Hart Leaves White With Crumbs

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jonathan Hart had 16,100 in front of him from early position, and was facing an all in shove from Larry White in the big blind for 48,300. Hart tanked for a few minutes.

"You got a big hand, sir?" Hart asked White. White nodded, and no sooner than he did, Hart took his remaining chips and placed them in the pot.

Jonathan Hart: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Larry White: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Hart found a set on the {k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} flop, but White was still alive with a gutshot straight draw. The {4-Hearts} turn gave Hart a full house, leaving White dead to the {8-Clubs} river. Hart made his exit from the tournament area, but was flagged down and brought back after the stacks were counted down and it was revealed that White had 1,800 in chips remaining. Hart managed to more than double up the next hand, but still remains short.

O'Brien Makes a Good Fold

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Three players saw an {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop together, and action checked over to Rory O'Brien in the cutoff. He bet 4,500, and only CT Hoffecker in early position made the call.

Both players checked the {j-Hearts} turn, and the {q-Hearts} fell on the river. Hoffecker led out for 18,000, sending O'Brien into the tank.

"Aw man..." O'Brien said after about a minute in the tank. O'Brien eventually folded, and Hoffecker showed the {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a flopped full house, prompting O'Brien to tell Hoffecker, "Big laydown, my friend!" about his fold.

Boyette Gets Back to Starting Stack

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Nelson Bernal raised to 1,800 from under the gun, and was called by Russell Boyette in the small blind, as well as the big blind.

Action checked to Bernal on a {2-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, and he bet 2,300. Boyette check-raised to 10,900, and both the big blind and Bernal quickly folded.

Boyette flashed the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} from his hand as he raked in the pot.

Sanchez's Tiny Bet Works

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Yousef Saleh raised to 3,600 from middle position, and Sley Sanchez made the call in the cutoff.

The {5-Hearts} hit the turn, and Saleh quickly checked. Sanchez bet 2,500, and Saleh didn't take long to flick his hand to the muck.

Snow Trying to Spin Up the Short Stack

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Two players limped in before Shomari Williams raised to 6,000 from middle position. Tara Snow, who was crippled the hand before, was all in for her last 700 in the big blind, and everyone else folded.

Tara Snow: {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Shomari Williams: {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Snow snagged a queen on the {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{q-Spades} flop, and never relinguished her lead on the {3-Diamonds} turn and {7-Diamonds} river, earning her a quadruple up.

"Don't call it a comeback!" a player at the table told Snow.

Munroe Runs Into Rockets

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Gavin Munroe raised to 1,600 from under the gun, and {x-} three-bet to 4,700 in middle position. Munroe four-bet shoved for 35,000 and Nelson Bernal snapped him off.

Gavin Munroe: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Nelson Bernal: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

A cruel {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} flop left Munroe's Big Slick drawing dead on the flop, and he was out of his seat before the {q-Clubs} turn and {6-Diamonds} river could fall.

Phil Gilreath raised to 2,100 from the hijack, and Rory O'Brien made the call in the cutoff.

Gilreath bet 2,500 on the {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, and O'Brien called.

The {3-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and Gilreath checked. O'Brien bet 3,000, and Gilreath called.

Gilreath checked again on the {2-Spades} river, and O'Brien bet 11,000. Gilreath thought for just a moment before flicking his cards to the muck, sending the pot to O'Brien.

Jones Can't Wait to Get in a Four-Bet

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Kip Jones raised to 1,500 from under the gun, and was called by CT Hoffecker in middle position.

Rebecca Campbell put in a three-bet to 4,500 from the hijack, and action folded to the big blind. As the big blind folded, Jones immediately tossed in a four-bet to 12,500, which quickly chased Hoffecker out of the hand. Campbell double-checked her cards, then followed suit and folded as well.
