Rocha Wins on River

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

There was close to 9,000 in the pot on a flop of {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Tai Nguyen checked in early position to put action on Nick Pupillo in the cutoff. He bet 2,700 and was called by Alex Rocha on the cutoff. Nguyen folded.

The turn came {8-Hearts} and both players checked. The dealer then burned and turned the river {10-Diamonds} and Pupillo checked again. Rocha bet 8,000 and Pupillo thought for a bit, looking back at his cards before sending them to the muck.

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Madrid Hits Trips Before Break

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

A player in the cutoff opened to 2,000 and was called by the small blind. Chris Madrid was in the big blind and confirmed the amount before defending.

All three players checked the flop of {7-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}. The turn came {7-Clubs} and the small blind checked. Madrid bet 2,000 and the cutoff clicked it back, making it 4,000. The small blind folded and Madrid matched the bet. The river came {4-Diamonds} and both players checked.

Madrid tabled {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and took down the pot with his trips.

Levy Makes Top Pair Versus Keeline

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

A player in middle position raised to 1,300 and David Levy called from the cutoff, as did both Ben Keeline from the small blind and the player in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and action checked to Levy who bet 3,400. Keeline called and the big blind and original raiser folded. Both players checked down the {q-Hearts} turn and {9-Diamonds} river.

Keeline tabled {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a pair of sevens and Levy showed {k-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of kings, good to take down the pot.

Zedo Raises Flop in Three-Bet Pot, Nears 100K

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Corey Zedo
Corey Zedo

Barb Visher had opened from middle position and been called by Corey Zedo in the cutoff before the small blind squeezed to 3,800. Visher was in the process of confirming the amount and then threw in chips to call. Zedo called shortly thereafter and the three went to a flop of {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

The small blind was first to act and checked. Visher put out 6,500 and Zedo put in a raise to 14,000. The small blind quickly folded and Visher looked back at her cards before taking one in each hand to replace the top with the bottom and vice versa before putting both cards back in her right hand and tossing them to the center of the table.

With the pot, Zedo is right around the 100,000-chip well into the seventh level of play for the day.

Moon Re-Enters

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Chris Moon
Chris Moon

Chris Moon was just seen walking to his new seat with his tournament chips in a rack held firmly in his hand. After failing to advance to Day 2 in yesterday's flight, he was eliminated earlier in the day and looks to make his third time a charm with regards to finding a bag at the end of the night.
