Rocha Doubles Through Itoafa on Bubble

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alex Rocha
Alex Rocha

Action was on Mike Itoafa in the hijack facing a reraise all in from Alex Rocha who was under the gun. The board read {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Rocha had a bet of 5,500 in front of him. Evan Shaughnessy had called the bet from Rocha's left and Itoafa raised to 38,500. Rocha in turn shoved, prompting a fold from Shaughnessy.

Eventually, Itoafa decided to call.

Alex Rocha: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Mike Itoafa: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

Itoafa had made the call with top pair and found himself in position to double Rocha up after he had flopped a set. The turn and river came {q-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Rocha secured the double to stay alive as hand-for-hand continues.

Danny Gonzales

Austin Peck opened to 20,000 from middle position and Danny Gonzales shoved all in from the button. Action folded back to Peck and he made the call.

Danny Gonzales: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Austin Peck: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Ramadanis Sends Moscati To the Payout Line

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Vincent Moscati
Vincent Moscati

Vincent Moscati shoved all in for his last 32,000 from middle position and received calls from Andreas Ramadanis on the button and Rich Dixon in the big blind.

With Ramadanis and Dixon competing for the side pot, the flop fell {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Dixon checked. Ramadanis bet 25,000 and Dixon called. The turn came {q-Spades} and Dixon checked to Ramadanis again who bet 58,000. After about 15 seconds, Dixon folded, showing the {j-Diamonds} face-up and it was time to expose the live cards in the hand.

Vincent Moscati: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Andreas Ramadanis: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Moscati was in need of a ten to hit a straight in order to improve beyond the two pair of Ramadanis and was unable to hit it on the river {9-Hearts}, resulting in the dealer calling for a payout on his behalf.
