Krier Doubles, Leaves Geolfos With Crumbs To Dust

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A player raised to 25,000 from under the gun and Colby Geolfos went all in over the top of him for 115,000 from middle position. Matt Krier was int he small blind and called all in for his last 110,000. The original raiser folded.

Colby Geolfos: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Matt Krier: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Krier found himself in dominating shape and had his opponent drawing dead after the turn on the runout of {j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} and leaving Geolfos with crumbs.

Jensen Coolers Lucero To Bust Him

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Robert Lucero raised from early position to 36,000 and was three-bet to 72,000 from Ben Jensen. Lucero thought for awhile before reraising to 148,000. Jensen immediately went all in, effectively shoving for Lucero's total stack of around 260,000. Lucero sighed and called.

Robert Lucero: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Ben Jensen: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Lucero was eliminated from the tournament while Jensen pads his stack which is around the three quarter-million mark.

Jensen Eliminated by Keshavarzi In Largest Pot of Tournament

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Ben Jensen
Ben Jensen

Ben Jensen was seen standing up and shaking the hand of the tournament director as piles and piles of chips were being pushed to his direct right, the seat occupied by Maz Keshavarzi. According to the table, the pot was worth over 2 million in chips and the action went as follows:

Action folded to Keshavarzi in the small blind and he raised to 60,000. Jensen defended his big blind and the flop came {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-}. Keshavarzi made a continuation-bet of 80,000 and Jensen peeled.

The turn came {a-Hearts} and Keshavarzi checked. Jensen bet 100,000 and Keshavarzi put in a check-raise to 250,000. After some thought, Jensen made the call (Keshavarzi would later add that it was a great call).

The river fell {q-} and Keshavarzi shoved for what was still over 500,000 effectively. Jensen called.

Maz Keshavarzi: {j-}{10-}
Ben Jensen: {q-}{q-}

After calling twice correctly with queens while a king and later an ace were on board, he Jensen had improved to a set on the river. Unfortunately for him, it was one of the two cards in the deck that Keshavarzi could hit to make a better hand and Jensen was sent home in brutal fashion.

Meanwhile, Keshavarzi has elevated to a massive chip lead with a stack significantly over two million in chips.
