Sweeney To One Million

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Bob Sweeney recently doubled up with ace-king where he held versus the nine-six of Maz Keshavarzi for his last few chips. He had then chipped up to around 800,000 and took down a pot after three-betting preflop and getting the opener on the other side of the table to fold, bringing his stack to one million in chips.

Ajayi Doubles Through Peck

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Austin Peck opened to 100,000 from the cutoff and received a call from Maxx Holland in the small blind. Dapo Ajayi looked at his cards while saying he was hoping for something he could shove with. He then announced he was all in and stood up to celebrate the fact that he had a shove-worthy hand.

Meanwhile, Peck thought for over a minute before raising to put Holland in and Holland folded {a-}{j-}.

Dapo Ajayi: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Ausin Peck: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

Ajayi was thrilled both at the jack-ten call as well as the fact that jack-ten had called his king-queen. The flop came {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, prompting Holland to remark on his own fold. Nonetheless, Ajayi remained ahead until the turn came {j-Clubs} prompting Ajayi to begin to get up from his seat. The river then fell {10-Clubs} to give him Broadway and secure the double.

"I'm gonna get right back down," Ajayi said as he sat back in his chair and collected his newly-won chips.

Dixon Doubles Through Pupillo In Dramatic Fashion

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

After Nick Pupillo and Rich Dixon were involved in a pot on the previous hand where Dixon folded to a shove from Pupillo on a board of {6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Spades}, Pupillo opened to 125,000 from under the gun and Dixon ripped in his last 630,000. Pupillo asked for a count and then called.

Rich Dixon: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Nick Pupillo: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The two found themselves in a coin flip situation until the flop fell in Pupillo's favor, coming {2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The turn came {k-Hearts} and Dixon commented about how he couldn't even hit a jack. Just like that, the {9-Clubs} fell on the river and he faded the end of his tournament life en route to a double and a near-average stack.
