West Finds a Hand, Gets Coolered

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Tim West had trouble gaining any serious traction today. He open-shipped preflop for about 25,000 and Stu Brown moved in over the top. The big blind released and they tabled their hands.

West: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Brown: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

The board ran {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{A-Spades}, Brown made quads to add insult to injury and West was eliminated.

Allen Kessler's Forks & Knives

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Just about every weekend casinos across the country hold some sort of giveaway for customers with player's cards. From toasters to Himalayan salt lamps, just about everything has been handed out. Today the Golden Gates gave away a set of silverware and a Tupperware container set.

Allen Kessler acquired a set and was trying to convince Aaron Massey to carry the items back to Las Vegas for him.

"Allen, why? You haven't even been home in two months," Massey said. "When you're home, you don't cook."

"I don't even remember the last time I was home," Kessler replied.

"Exactly!," Massey said. "I'm not carrying around an extra four pounds of metal in my bags for something you're never going to use."

Kessler still is holding onto his forks and knives if anyone wants to bring them back to Vegas for him.
