Eyster Takes Down Li

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was on the turn as the board read {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Fred Li called the 28,000 bet from Kevin Eyster.

The river was the {4-Hearts}. Li checked it over to Eyster who put in a large bet that was enough to put Li all in.

Li called quickly and Eyster turned over the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} which Li could not beat as he mucked his hand and stood up to leave the table.

Moorehead's Short Stack Spin Continues

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Rick Moorehead began Day 2 with just 49,000 in chips but in less than an hour, he's spun it up to 175,000.

In a recent hand, Moorehead moved all in for around 100,000 from the cutoff and Thai Ha opted to call off for approximately 75,000 in the big blind.

Moorehead: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Ha: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Ha's best chance at staying alive was to catch an ace, but that proved easier said than done as the board ran out a dry {3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

Ezzie Doubles Through Ballentine

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Raymond Ezzie pushed all in from early position for his remaining amount of about 115,000. He was called by Brent Ballentine to his immediate left. Two players in late position thought for a while before eventually folding.

Ballentine showed the {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} .

"That's what I was hoping to see." said Ezzie as he turned over the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Ezzie would find help on the flop as the board ran out {5-Spades}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Spades} to give him the big double up and leave Ballentine short stacked.
