Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 30,000 ante
Stephen Green - 3rd Place
Stephen Green - 3rd Place

After Keith Heine folded on the button, Bill Byrnes raised to 360,000 from his small blind.

Stephen Green then three-bet to 760,000 from his big blind, which was followed by an "All in." announcement by Byrnes.

Stephen Green called off and was in a race for his tournament life

Byrnes: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Green: {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The {4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades} board was not kind to Green, and he was sent to the rail in third place.

The final two players are now on a short break while tournament officials make arrangements for heads-up play.

Byrnes Takes Down a Monster Pot

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 40,000 ante

In the first big heads-up confrontation, Bill Byrnes emerged the victor.

After Keith Heine raised it to 205,000, Bill Byrnes three-bet to 500,000, and Heine made the call.

Byrnes continued for 300,000 on the {k-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts} flop, only to be raised to 750,000 by Heine, and this time Byrnes made the call.

Byrnes led out again on the {8-Diamonds} turn for 300,000.

After Heine eyed Byrnes' stack, he put out a raise to 1,000,000, which was met with an "All in." announcement from Byrnes.

Heine asked the dealer to pull in the 1,000,000 to see how much more Byrnes had behind.

Once the dealer confirmed an extra 3,340,000, Heine re-checked his cards and folded his hand, which sent the huge pot to Byrnes.

Byrnes Takes Another Massive Pot

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 40,000 ante

Action was raised to 200,000 by Bill Byrnes and called by Keith Heine.

Both players checked the {2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop.

Heine check-raised to 500,000 after Byrnes bet out 200,000 on the {6-Hearts} turn. Byrnes called.

Heine bet out 800,000 after the {7-Hearts} came on the river and Byrnes three-bet to 2,500,000. Heine counted out his chips and put them in the middle. While Heine turned two pair with {6-}{2-} it was no good as Byrnes flipped over {8-Spades}{4-Spades} for the eight-high straight.

The Ladies Love Heine

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 40,000 ante

Bill Byrnes limped the button and then called when Keith Heine raised to 225,000. When the flop came down {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, Heine led out for 500,000 and Byrnes moved all in. Heine called off for 1.86 million and the hands were turned up.

Byrnes: {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Heine: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Byrnes had flopped top pair but was behind Heine's overpair. Neither the {6-Diamonds} turn nor {6-Hearts} river helped Byrne and Heine shipped the double.

On the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, Byrnes continued for 700,000, and Heine made the call.

Byrnes then check-called a 1,100,000 bet from Heine on the {a-Clubs} turn.

Heine Survives All In

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 50,000 ante

Bill Byrnes opened to 300,000 and Keith Heine announced all in. Byrnes called.

Heine: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Byrnes: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Heine looked good after the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Spades} flop but had to dodge 12 outs after the {6-Clubs} came on the turn.

The {q-Diamonds} on the river wasn't the card Byrnes wanted and he doubled up Heine.
