Beetz Beats Another

Level 3 : 100/300, 0 ante

Bradley Beetz bet 7,500 from the small blind on a {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop, and his opponent on the button looked over his own 8,700 chip stack for a few moments, before sticking it in the pot. Beetz quickly called.

Opponent: {5-Spades}{4-Spades}
Bradley Beetz: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

"I thought he had ace-king," the button said. Beetz held on the {j-Clubs} turn and {k-Clubs} river, and eliminated his opponent.

Casino Chips Back Up With a Chop

Craig Casino
Craig Casino

Five players invested 1,100 each to see an {8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop together, which was checked through to the {j-Clubs} turn. Action checked to Steven Jungmann in the cutoff, who bet 5,500. Craig Casino jammed for 7,000 next to act, and action folded back to Jungmann, who snap-called.

Craig Casino: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Steven Jungmann: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The duo gave each other a knowing nod, as both held the nut straight and a chop was guaranteed before the {6-Hearts} could fall on the river.

Barany's Queens Survive a Scary Board

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

A player raised to 600 from early position, and Tim Barany three-bet to 2,000 from the hijack. The early position player called.

On the {10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop, the early position player check-called a bet of 2,800 from Barany.

The {9-Spades} turn and {j-Spades} river were checked down, and the early position player tabled {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Barany had that beat with his {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and took down the pot.
