Moon Barrels Out Gutierrez

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Chris Moon
Chris Moon

Zach Gutierrez was in early position and opened to 900, receiving a call from Nelson Resendiz in the hijack. Chris Moon was in the cutoff and announced a three-bet to 3,600. Gutierrez thought for about 35 seconds and put out chips to call. Resendiz then folded and the flop came {4-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

Gutierrez was first to act postflop and checked to Moon, who made a continuation-bet of 2,000. Gutierrez called.

The turn came {q-Clubs} and Gutierrez checked again. Moon thought for about 20 seconds and put out 25,000, which put Gutierrez to the test for his remaining chips. Gutierrez took about 15 seconds to think about his decision before sending his cards to the muck.

There was around 24,000 in the pot on a board of {10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Ryan Pedigo had checked from the small blind to put action on Spencer Champlin, who was in the hijack.

"All in," said Champlin, sliding a stack of chips forward. Pedigo quickly called.

Spencer Champlin: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Ryan Pedigo: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Peidgo found himself drawing dead against Champlin's full house as the river {6-Hearts} completed the runout. Champlin's stack was totaled to be 18,200 and Pedigo's was just less than that, sending him to the rail along the way.

Ertl Sends Harvey To the Rail

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Fred Ertl
Fred Ertl

There was a bit over 1,000 in the pot from preflop action between James Harvey in the small blind, a player in the hijack, and Fred Ertl, who was on the button. Action checked to the hijack, who bet 700, and was called by Ertl. Harvey check-raised all in for his last 8,100 and the hijack went into the tank, ultimately folding. Ertl thought for about 10 seconds and dropped in chips to call.

James Harvey: {3-Spades}{4-Spades}
Fred Ertl: {j-Spades}{5-Spades}

Harvey had check-raised all in with a flush draw and a wheel draw, but found himself with no live flush outs. The turn came {j-Hearts} to give him only three outs left at a wheel, which he missed when the river {q-Hearts} fell, resulting in Ertl winning the pot and securing the elimination.

Philip Cummings
Philip Cummings

A player raised to 300 from under the gun and was called by another player in middle position. Philip Cummings was on the button and became the third player to enter the pot with a call. The small blind called as well, as did Jackson White out of the big blind.

"Five players," said the dealer as she fanned a flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}. All five players checked. The turn came {q-Clubs} and action checked to Cummings, who bet 500. Only the original raiser called, taking action heads up to the river {k-Diamonds}.

The under-the-gun player checked to Cummings, who put out another bet of 1,200 and was called.

Cummings tabled {9-Spades}{7-Hearts} for trip nines and took down the pot after his opponent mucked.
