John Thornton raised to 1,500 from under the gun, and was called by Gerald Claunch in the cutoff, Mark Koeln on the button, and Christopher Audrain in the big blind.
Action checked to Koeln on the flop, and he bet 6,000 into the pot of 6,900. All three of his opponents quickly mucked.

One hand after his open-ended straight draw cracked the jacks of Michael McKuin and the nut flush draw of Brett Apter (which eliminated Apter), Jonathan Williams raised to 1,500 from the button, then called a three-bet shove for 13,000 from Jeff Sauer in the small blind.
Jeff Sauer:
Jonathan Williams:
Luck was on Williams' side again after the flop, and although the turn gave Sauer chop outs, the river gave Williams his second straight knockout. Sauer and Williams share a fist bump before Sauer left the tournament area.

Christopher Audrain raised to 2,200 from under the gun, and Joseph Brose called in the hijack. Gerald Claunch three-bet shoved for 32,100 from the button, and Mark Koeln called in the small blind. Audrain tanked for a minute before folding, and Brose quickly followed suit.
"I folded queens," Audrain said.
Gerald Claunch:
Mark Koeln:
Koeln pulled ahead on the flop, and the turn left Claunch searching for a seven. Audrain shook his head when the river would've given him a winning set, but instead it was Koeln scooping in the pot and eliminating Claunch.
