Tom Nguyen Eliminated in 7th Place ($13,701)

Level 26 : 20,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Tom Nguyen

Tom Nguyen pushed all in with {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for 570,000 and Martin Borras called from the big blind, holding {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, putting Nguyen at risk.

Tom Nguyen: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Martin Borras: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The flop came down {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Nguyen took a commanding lead. A {10-Diamonds} hit the felt as a turn card, leaving Borras with just a nine to take down the pot.

An unthinkable {9-Spades} rolled over on the river, smashing Borras with the nine he needed to take down the pot, eliminating Nguyen from the tournament in seventh place.

Arthur Boatman moved all in for 730,000 with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Eric Salazar called, holding {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Players turned over their cards with Boatman at risk

Arthur Boatman: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Eric Salazar: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned out {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Salazar's bullets were still ahead, leaving Boatman in need of runner-runner. A {j-Clubs} turn card cemented the pot for Salazar as Boatman was then drawing dead to the {9-Clubs} river card.

Miguel Hernandez

Miguel Hernandez moved all in for 669,000 from middle position with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and directly on his left was Luke Graham who raised to 1,300,000, holding {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Everyone else folded and the two tabled their hands with Hernandez at risk.

Miguel Hernandez: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Luke Graham: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop rolled out {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Graham was still ahead with his big slick. A {6-Clubs} peeled off on the turn, leaving Hernandez with one last shot to save his tournament life.

A {4-Clubs} completed the board, failing to improve Hernandez and he was the first to take an exit from this final table as Graham pulled in the pot.

Champion Will be Crowned Today in HPT Daytona Beach Main Event!

Eric Salazar
Eric Salazar

The Heartland Poker Tour is now down to the official final table of nine in the Daytona Beach $1,100 Main Event, as remaining players get ready to battle it out for the $98,476 first-place prize.

Luke Graham will be starting the day as the chipleader with a 3,505,000 stack after spinning up a lead halfway through Day 2.

Following closely behind Graham on the leaderboard is Martin Borras who has 2,855,000 and is the only person, other than Graham, who has above the 40 big blind mark.

One player to watch for during this final table is Eric Salazar who has been having a career year, with over 35 live tournament cashes thus far in 2019. Salazar's second-biggest cash of the year came at the HPT $1,650 Main Event in Chicago just two months ago and he will be looking to top that feat here today.
